Hi all, another short notice gig tonight - both with 24 hours notice. Lots of drunk people last night, all well-behaved if a tad loud. Anyway 4/27 for me today.
Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!4 -
Had an AF Friday, went to the theatre and I loathe those little bottles of wine so had an ice cream instead. 😋

Hello,I'm back.had a great few days around my 75th. There were 20 of us at my birthday party. We were in a separate room so we could be as boisterous as we liked, and the littl'uns - 7 little terrors 6 and under, could run around without annoying other customersFive days of indulgence ,altogether I had 28 units of alcohol, quite a bit to many people but I have awful memories of 12 units a day for multiple days,so believe me,I am not ashamed or upset about it. I enjoyed the stuff, but I have easily fallen back into routine. More family dos at the end of the month, but I will most likely be AF till then. I have two bottles of whiskey given as gifts - most of the family have learned that I dont want it in the house, but there is always someone who ignores your wishes!Must endeavour not to open them.2/24 please cathybird4

Afterprunes all, 5/27 today. Good gig last night, the venue want to book us in 2024 as their 2023 calendar is full. Mind you, yesterday's gig was a cancellation so we've a foot in the door for other ones...ooh!

Declaring early so 3/20 - very alcohol full Friday and Saturday due to a celebration and although I enjoyed it immensely, the arthritis in my knees, ankles and feet has really flared up as a result 🤦♀️ another reason to stay af as much as possible!!'Happiness is not a destination but the journey you walk every day'
