Morning
13/16. Slept good.I also lost weight using this thread. I lost 2 and a half stone in 2014 and have kept it off. I’m currently 9 stone 3 pounds. I would love, however, to see the scales starting with an 8! 8 Stone 13 would be nice. 😊I did put on a stone and a couple of pounds in lock down - I literally walked those pounds off in the winter and spring months of 2022.Last day of July! Can you believe it!!?Shaggy XxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.6 -
31/31 for me please, cathybird. April, May, June and July have all been completely AF months for me so far this year (plus the end of March).I’ve only drank on seven days since the start of this year (2 occasions in Jan, 3 in Feb, 2 in March). Am hoping for an AF August and September.5

Oh dear, I lost count in July! I was on holiday and drank pretty regularly, which I don't usually do these days. A cold beer every now and again I won't begrudge myself, but it wasn't necessary every day. I basically drank it because it was there. My goal for August is to drink very little but I'll have a break from counting until September. Have a wonderful rest of your summer everyone xStudent loan £5655

I'm one of the longer standing members of the thread but nobody should judge the tread on my current lack of success! It's been a really helpful constant and I try to stay on here for accountability even when I'm struggling. Before I joined the thread I was getting to a total of zero days since I moved to London in the early 90's and stopped driving everywhere.
I am finishing July on 8/15 - I think my counting went wrong earlier in the month when I committed last time and then didn't follow through. My BF and I finally had a week's holiday planned together. We don't have as much quality time together since I started helping my sister with caring for my father 2 years ago but the first night of our break my father ended up admitted to A&E. Thank goodness it looks as if he's going to be ok and we were still at home when it happened - we'd planned to try for a last minute trip somewhere. So I still haven't spent any quality time with my BF instead I'm spending our much longed for romantic break in a windowless hospital room with my father who has Covid. So glad he's out of danger again but boy oh boy it's not easy and my sister now has Covid herself. Alcohol is the only thing keeping me going this week although I know it's not helping either. Aaargh.
Please could I have a target of 10 in August.
