Sorry to hear how poorly you have been @dustydigger. Do increase the amount of water you drink, as that helps with the red blood cells. I was told at least 3 litres a day. My issue is too many red blood cells, which get stickier if I get dehydrated, with a potential then for strokes/heart attacks.
