Good morning everyone. I am 28/25 please cathybird. Thank you. X
Rob your story about the drunk lady doing the breaststroke on the dance floor made me laugh 😂 but it also gave me a pang. I love dancing and even sober will be the first on the dance floor. In my very heavy drinking days I would certainly have been flinging myself all over the place! I dont think I attempted the breast stroke on the floor but who knows? One of the joys of being sober is remembering everything about an evening out and knowing that if you behaved badly it had nothing to do with alcohol. X

Apparently it's a good Pilates thing. Grateful it wasn't the backstroke.... She idi apologise profusely afterwards but it really wasn't a problem as she was causing no trouble. Unlike at a previous venue were a mass brawl broke out, which I hastened to add was nothing to do with us. !  But I digress (for once!).  Its 28 days for this month and some dancing sweet corn day, or rather -  ice skating sweetcorn. 948 days since I've had a drink over here. Apart from one birthday and I'm proud of that. My gold star is just two days away. Woohoo!  Off to Braintree now to look at a new venue to cheque out the stage area and plug sockets parking and loading in area. That kind of thing. Byeeee!
