Hi all, 7 for me and a witchypumpkin!

New York gig 2.  This was at a small bar again in Brooklyn. This was quite fun really - upstairs and of course, no lift. We had Vlad (singer's dad) to help, and he was needed. Oh and it was above - a Russian cake shop. Honestly it could only happen to us. Probably 35 people there in total which meant it was fairly full. I aways judge how well we do by how many people stay the whole gig, the only time anyone left was when we played a Ukrainian song - one Russian walked out and came back after the song finished. Turned out he was pro-Russia and knew our singer anyway. (Our other singer had to come back to UK for work commitments). The place is called Tatcafe.com if you want to have a peep. Expensive place but we found prices horribly high everywhere. In a 7-11 I bought 12 eggs, one loaf, punnet of mushrooms - $17. Ouch!  Yet they still use $1 bills - your wallet/purse is bursting with notes and you have about twenty quid!  $100 bills are used too. You can always tell a tourist though - they puzzle over coins!! Oh and the BIG yellow school buses in films? Yes, they still use those. Have a nice day y'awl!
