Not been around , diabetes playing up,back hurting all the time,desperately waiting for my B12 injection on 28th,so weak and breathless. I am being very cautious and am staying in doors,this heat is so oppressive!I keep thinking of the terrible year in France when literally thousands of old people died in heatwaves. It was a wakeup call,and lessons were learned about keeping hydrated etc.

Anyhoo,I got my crazy chick and am now on 19/25.

Expecting visitors Friday and Saturday,probably not AFD,but looking forward to my ice cream for 21 days. Will have to work hard if I am to fly a kite for exceeding target. Something to aim for.

Who would have thought a funny little emoji flying a kite could encourage having some alcohol free days. It does work though!

Good afternoon everyone.

Sorry to hear that you haven't been well dustydigger. Hopefully things will improve once you have had your injection. I'm sure you know that alcohol interferes with the body's ability to absorb B12 (amongst other vitamins) so you are doing the right thing by cutting down on booze👏. X
