I've been struggling to comment on here for a while tbh I've not been well and been working stupid amounts to try to keep my head from wondering to the destructive. I know working like that is somewhat destructive in itself but I was really struggling and it was better that and leaning on my wife than me turning back to old habits. I have had a drink twice this month so 25 days please.

We are off to Athens tomorrow and my parents are meeting us there. First time they've travelled to Athens since Covid and they used to go once/ twice a year (they live in Greece). I've booked a nice place for us all to stay so it should be nice.

Thanks for adding me to the list too @cathybird. I'm away for a lot of June and the beginning of July so I fear like @maggiem I won't achieve more than a week. Fortunately I've accrued plenty of extra days in other months to offset it. 😁

130 miles, 4x1 hour sets, bed at 0200, cat gets The Zoomies at 0300. Rock'n'roll. Fair to say -I'm a little slow today.  The first gig that our Ukrainian singer fronted alone, to paraphrase a football quote "The lass done brilliant!" . Then to be equally great just hours later (OK, share duties there) was just great! The venue liked us, they want us back as does another. Looking busy. Have to say, it's partly down to The Girls, the way they interact together adds so much to the show. And they're best mates now too!

Enough twaddler - it's 28 for me today and a new emoji! On for the Gold Star!
