Anyone having issues with DPD? I have had nothing but issues recently!

It was annoying, but it did eventually turn up a week later - luckily the day before we had really bad weather that I susepct would have seen it delayed for at least a further week.I agree that it;s extremely frustrating, bu the combination of the Royal Mail and rail Strikes, bad weather and peak Black Friday / Christmas shopping seem to have sent all courier companies into meltdown. It's far more likely that your parcel is simply delayed than that it has been stolen or lost. If Nike promised delivery in a certain timeframe that has now passed, and you no longer want the goods as a result, then tell them so.1

What does it mean when DPD tracking says the following:
“Your parcel is at your DPD Pickup Shop”
So far as I can tell this is just badly worded and it means it is at the place from which their couriers pick it up in their vans. It is not somewhere I am expected to go myself to collect the item, since they need to deliver it my house, that’s the whole point!
Yet for some reason the tracking has repeated this line for the past 4-5 days with no progress. So I don’t understand if this means they have lost it, or if bizarrely they don’t have any drivers to actually make
the delivery? (But I’m in London…)
When I try to call DPD there’s an automatic
message telling me to call a company called Packlink which I’ve never heard of, and which also has no obvious contact number for someone who isn’t their customer. Presumably because the missing item is something I’ve bought on eBay…

Always best to start a new thread, either here or on the eBay board

Thanks for your quick reply! I posted here on an old thread because this board seems a lot busier, sorry!
Yes I have reported it as item not received on eBay and the seller says he can’t get any more information out of DPD than I can. So I’ve said I just want a refund. Though it’s only a week since I’ve made the purchase so too early for me to have the ability to involve eBay.0 -

Presumably because the missing item is something I’ve bought on eBay…It will likely mean it is a local newsagents/phone repair shop or similar small business.DPD use them if they cannot find your address;, try when you are out and don’t like the look of the area to leave it safe; if the cannot be bothered to climb to the 8th floor of your block or flats; or if you have set this as a default for previous parcels (on their online system/app, not the retailers)…..
The online tracking should tell you which one it is at, and you turn up with the tracking number and some ID.2 -

I have always been home so I don’t believe they’ve ever attempted delivery. My address on the DPD site is complete and correct but it does contain a string of characters beginning “Ebayr97” after the first line of my address which shouldn’t be there so perhaps that confused them.I clicked the + icon and it has allowed me to “reschedule” the delivery for tomorrow.I’ve asked the seller if he’ll refund the postage since he hasn’t helped to resolve this…0 -
