Went to B&Q to buy a new electic fire for the lounge. Knew what we wanted but had some questions - the person we spoke with was not interested so we left.

When we got home did some research on the web and found the manufacturers online retail arem showed the one we - well the one the wife had decided on - wanted. Rang up - got the answers and bought.

Straight forward - Yes Cost £31 cheaper.Prices go up and down - you can find things more expensive or cheaper if you look.

Interesting if you read the media at Black Friday time as they often report on so called *good deals* that are anything but.

It would be more help to the OP if you could repeat your post for the correct item, as has been stated several times they want the 5th gen with clock whereas your search is for the 5th gen without clock.
