  • Interesting to read about the LTS jeans.  What about the rise?  I always find that bit a bit of a problem.

It seems to be a proper, normal rise (despite their being labelled "high-waisted") - basically, the entire pair of jeans go from where I'd expect to where I'd expect, iyswim! It's a six-inch zip (just measured it).

I think the "waist" on jeans may now be several inches below the waist, so you need "high waisted" in order to get jeans that reach your waist...!

  • Same here thrift wizard! I had kidney surgery last year, and can't wear the same cut of jeans any more. I've got high waisted slim leg ones, from a couple of different brands.

I was actually popping in to ask you all a question triggered by buying jeans! Spooky coincidence???

Anyway, how do you all treat things that you've bought second hand, but that haven't actually been worn? I've just picked up a pair of jeans from vinted, brand new with the tags still on....
A small, orange, enamel teapot sort of person apparently...

  • Same for me - if somebody else bought it from the shop/manufacturer then they used their coupons, as it were, and so it's second-hand to me.

  • @DrCarrie, yep, belts are coupon-free! (I think in the war, they were basically just not made so if you could find one, well done and no coupons needed...)

So you are still on 66 :) One month down, 11 to go....!

Oh no, oh dear, I'll have to visit a fabric shop tomorrow... I need to vaguely resemble (a superannuated, short, round) Princess Jasmine in a week's time! I can do most of it with stuff I already have, but will need some glittery stuff for the overskirt (that won't get tangled in a veil) and some satiny stuff for the headband & belt. May also need to borrow DD2's hair extensions & stick them down on my shoulder so they don't get tangled, too. Hobby no. 3 is eating up my coupons again!
