Update:
Started preparing defense using this one: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6108153/template-defence-to-adapt-for-all-parking-cases-where-they-add-false-admin-costs-edited-march-2022
- Still waiting for SAR reply from BankPCN.
- Didn't expected but got reply for DCB. So, may be will get claim form after 20th Feb.We write in relation to your Letter of Claim response 9 thJanuary 2023.
We note within your reply form that you stated you are seeking advice and asked what our legal authority is to add £60.00 to the Parking Charge Notice (PCN).
Please note, when the PCN was issued and you received your Notice To Keeper (NTK) it stated ‘The Parking Charge Notice will therefore remain unpaid and enforcement action will be taken. This will result in additional costs being incurred. Failure to pay this charge may result in enforcement action which could include County Court proceedings and which may incur additional costs.’ Therefore, the balance has increased due to the previous recovery action that has taken place.
You were afforded the opportunity to; appeal the parking charge, transfer liability to the driver (if it was not you) or make payment. Neither a successful appeal, nor an adequate nomination were received, yet payment remains outstanding.
DCB Legal have now been instructed as all previous attempts to resolve these matters have been unsuccessful.
You now have a further 30 days from the date of this e-mail to pay the outstanding balance of £160.00.
Failure to make the above payment will result in a claim being issued against you without further notice.0 -
As expected! As I said above, you'll get a claim. But you do sound far more prepared now, which is good. A Claim is the beginning of the end of the scam!Coupon-mad said:

Thanks @KeithP - I sent them email on 9th with denying charges and asked for 30 days but didn't received anything back so, was wondering. But really appreciate your help.KeithP said:
Only if they are obliged to do so or it suits them to do so.SCompx said:Do DCB Legal confirm or provide any communication after I sent the email?
They will pick it up again in February anyway. Nothing has changed. You will get a court claim and you will defend and win.
Read lots more threads as you seem a little unprepared and are far too reliant on 'hearing back' when you don't really care, surely, if scammers actually acknowledge the 30 day hold.
Out of interest, to help other newbies who come here for advice long after you, what email address are they replying from?
Always good that we note them due to staff changes at these horror firms.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
