£6.23 spent today.
Sainos had Linda m cartney burgers and sausages half price so I grabbed 2 of each to pop in the freezer. We didn't need them really as I did get some from t3sc0 on offer but these are even cheaper than those and will keep in the freezer.
The 23p was spent on garlic.Total for January so far stands at £263.10/ £250

it is worse than that, your target is £200.
how are you going to survive to the end of the month?
if it was me, I would only eat out of my kitchen/freezer cupboards.
All offers, will still be there next month, and as you stated, you didn't need them.
Only trying to help you.

I had an Asda delivery today which was supposed to contain everything I needed but for the second time they substituted plain flour for the strong flour I ordered for making bread. This time I spotted it in time and sent it back but now I need to go and get some. That's the downside to shopping deliveries! They also had no fresh basil and no own brand cream crackers so I've a few bits to pick up tomorrow.
I spent £64.76 so I'm now at £93.21/£200 so still on track to stay under budget.6 -
I still can't believe that I have not taken the grocery money from the bank yet!! We are however down to the small change, so it is looking like tomorrow. We have managed to still shop from stock and even tonight will be corned beef hash which may well be enough for tomorrow too
If we are able to do this again with this next money (which is actually Decembers) keep stretching it out would be nice. I have managed to stretch to the end of the month as I get paid on the 27th monthly. I will see how far it can go over.
I might challenge ourselves to do that. Wish me luck.

Small shop at Mr T today, trying to eek out the food till Friday (payday). I'm going to restart my total on Friday so I run payday to pay day.
No reduced food in my shop but managed to keep it under £20, coming in at £16 (and a few pennies)

Bubble and squeek, jacket potato and sausages for dinner tonight. Too many left over veg and I always do a spare spud in case one is bad inside so we have decided to have the same meal tomorrow with a few wedges instead of baked potatos! Another nsd for me today. Looks like i wont spend the whole budget this month ! It will still be spent though! The tooth that the dentist gave me antibiotics for before christmas is giving me jip again so I am off for a little visit to see him on Wednesday. 🤦♀️craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

I increased my budget later on in the month, the £200 was a complete guess and a challenge for myself.
Our usual Budget is £460! And that is sat in the pot still. But as we had two full freezers after Christmas I wanted to start the year increasing our emergency savings as much as I could. I am still doing my best and am happy at what I ve achieved so far. There will still be fruit and eggs to buy before February but not much more 😊 but you are right no more spending on stuff we really don't need!Grocery Challenge 🍇🍈🍉🍊🍋🍌🍍

I cannot believe how expensive eggs are now. I obviously don't eat them but my OH does and rather often for a quick easy meal for himself. £5.40 for a pack of 10 large! Though at times he buys the £3.80 for 6 so the 10 pack ones were cheaper. I know that there are cheaper eggs, however my OH really notices the difference in taste and to be honest I certainly notice that his system doesn't agree with the cheaper eggs if you understand my meaning 🤣.
£179.93/£248.
£68.07 left.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy5 -
i also notice the difference in the cheaper eggs and the 'better' eggs.6
