get a grip guys, no one is forcing you to buy anything. just because it's called 'grabbit' you won't get into trouble or anything if you decide not to 'grabbit'.0

Be careful if you want a battery powered DAB radio as they are much more power hungry than AM/FM radios, owing to the need to decode the digital signal before producing any audio. This also causes a delay, so that for instance the BBC's 'pips' are no longer accurate.
Absolutely - this is a point I haven't seen publicised. I bought a Pure a couple of years ago to use in the bathroom (half an hour a day of the Today program) & the garden (in summer). As the batteries cost about £8 per set I bought rechargeable batteries for it (about £20) but found that even with a full charge it wouldn't go through the week, ie it ran out of steam after only a couple of hours. It was also difficult to get it loud enough to hear in the shower. Thankfully it then went wrong so I got my money back - but I lost out on the rechargeable batteries I'd bought, plus the AM only radio I'd chopped in.0 -

i mean what would you prefer a porsche that breaks down every 10 yards (FM) or a trusty vauxhall vectra that never breaks down (DAB)?
mmm, but we don't all listen to football commentary. Some of us would like to Stereo music, that sounds at least as good as any old FM radio.0 -
Does any DAB have MW as the radio i have don't pick it up very good
Never hold your farts in. They travel up your spine, into your brain, and that's where you get s****y ideas from.
Hello and good bye....

Warning Philips Sports Gear Radio with 1GB MP3 Player
You can only charge the internal battery via a USB port on a PC unless you buy a mains adapter with a 5V USB out port on it.
There is no internal battery - it uses alkalines or rechargeables and does not charge batteries.
No problems with mine and it will pick up signals where my Bug Too strugglesBoth models ... When I did a full search or local to try and search for the full range of stations, the strength went down to zero and no music was played. The Graphical Eq on the mp3 player muted the already low volume even more for some of he presets
Black text on a white / light grey background. Are you sure you've bought a Phillips Sports Gear Radio?????and the display was very poor. Greyish white text on a grey background.0
