Great news all round - and what a turnaround in DD from where you were at a year ago - that's brilliant! Good for her though - I guess it was a bit of a steep learning curve into adult life when she got into the working environment!
Exciting about the movement on the sticky question of the cars too - that sounds far more positive. I confess I'm feeling quite guilty at the moment about my car situation - mine seems to rarely move these days and I do feel that probably I ought to get rid - but the issue is that when I DO want to go somewhere it makes that possible - travelling to airshows etc by public transport with a suitcase and a heavy camera bag really wouldn't be much fun, for example, and there are a good few you simply can't even really access without a car, so...Had a chat with MrEH about it and we've agree that it makes sense to take some of the mileage off his by me using mine for the commute on days when it's only me going in...that would actually suit me anyway as I much prefer driving mine!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
