Official MSE savings thread.

The official MSE "top easy access accounts discussion thread" should be renamed the "chat about anything other than top Easy Access accounts discussion thread". Is there any moderation on here to keep threads on topic and apply forum rules that "derailing.... posting is unacceptable".  It is constantly going off topic.

Hi @isasmurf  - in general yes we encourage everyone to keep their posts focussed on MoneySaving matters. 

However in a long-running thread like the one you mention, clearly people will have different views on how much 'chatter' is desirable or acceptable, and pleasing everyone will be very difficult. 

With that in mind, we'd ask everyone to be patient with each other, keep in mind that others may see things differently, and to use the 'report' button if you think another user has broken the MSE forum rules.

Dig deep in there and there's one called "no chat" - try that?
