Not overly fond of out of control parents either.  We were at a concert with 2 bellowing lad behind us - singing along I wouldn't have minded but they were talking to each other and having to shout because the were seated with a couple of people in between them.  The longer the concert went on the drunker they got which fortunately quieted them down.  Not so the one lad's 50something father who got up to dance at one point and fell forward on top of my OH.  He had the good grace to apologise and thankfully didn't throw up.

Could somebody please confiscate my bank cards?  . Bought another dress today from the Sue Ryder shop….b/n Monsoon, midi length, pale lemon with rusty coloured flowers & leaves, £6.50.  Thought it was a bargain and then I checked the label int the side seam to find it was made from pure silk with a silk lining!

It's certainly easier to read on my phone and I rather like the navigation around the Boards & threads.

Mind I'm impressed by good curtains too, as the one we are presently using are less than lovely & my sons cordially loathe them. We're keeping the fleece blankets pinned over them to maintain the illusion of family harmony...

Right I've got the answer @Miró. You keep your cards and continue buying stuff, but send said stuff to me. That way you've no evidence sat there looking at you making you feel guilty!

But, but, but.....I don't feel guilty!!!  I get a little 'frisson' of delight when I peruse my purchases!  Problem is I'm running out of storage space, I keep having a clear out but it's like painting the Forth Bridge......as soon as I have some empty space it magically gets filled again, almost overnight.  Could someone build me an extension please?????

There was a beautiful silk scarf BNWT with an egyptian design from the British Museum on fleabay.  I amused myself by bidding a couple of times as it would have gone perfectly with my pale green jeans but in the end I let it go.  £10+ with postage was too much.  Especially as I've spent all of this year's pocket money (aka large portion of tax return) on art supplies.
