I just walked to Leigh and I saw a Salvation Army shop I hadn't spotted before. It had some nice things. I'm going out to Basildon today but I will go back there another time.2025 GOALS

I love reading this thread (but I do wonder how some of you have room for all your finds!) but rarely post these days as although I go in nearly all the chazzers I am strict with myself, for both financial and space reasons.
However got to share an amazing thing that happened last week - a Barnardo's that was one of my faves was closing down and having a final final clearout. I thought it was closed at first as I couldn't see anything but black bin bags inside, however someone went in so I followed them, and was told that it was the last day and "any six items for £1". Kid in a sweetshop doesn't come close, I spent ages even though there wasn't much left, but it was a fab rummage fest.
Ended up with a wine colour chunky soft cotton v-neck jumper, nice and warm for the winter; a strappy vest top with pineapples on, a M&Co navy shoulder wrap for cooler evenings after hot days; a West Coast 1978 "California" dark grey teeshirt; a large toiletries bag as new, ideal for storing spare cosmetics etc.; and the piece de resistance... a pair of sunglasses that unless they're a very good fake are Ray Bans! Says Made in Italy on the arms. Tiny 2mm scratch on the outer edge of one lens but not noticeable when wearing.
Then found a zip-up hard shell but lightweight glasses case for 50p in another shop, perfect for the sun specs, so a very successful day. I was on a high by then so accidentally bought yet another Primark packaway jacket that I really don't need, but I didn't have a plum coloured one, it still had its stuff sack (unusual these days) and was only £6. Oh and a TargetDry Mac in a Sac for £3.50 and a Joseph Joseph microwaveable plastic beaker (missing its lid) for 50p. A "used" pair on eBay currently complete with lids for £20 plus postage.
That's my chazzer cravings satisfied for a couple of weeks!Used to be Bogof_Babe. It did need updating!10 -
Soz not. Chazza related but yaknow…….did both the Bedale and Thirsk car booties today and just arrived back at base camp in need of a shower and a very large. G & T! Goodies purchased included an electric heater for £3, pack of 3 long dress cover thingies for 50p, 2 x Ted Baker perfumes, (probably fakes but nice smells for £3 each, book about French villages £1, bloke got a nice new jacket for £3, various shrubs and plants probably cost a tenner.PS forgot to mention the 99p bargain from the St Gemmas Shop in Otley earlier in the week. A pair of M & S ankle grazer trousers in a sort of bluey pink shade. Again sizing way off and a little butchering required to make ‘em fit. But worth the faff😊7

I didn't have a lot of time for browsing this weekend, but found convenient parking spaces to dive in and out of and quickly en-route to my destination yesterday:
Chaz 1: mirrored tea-light holder with butterfly (looks better than it sounds) that needed a little attention with a toothbrush, some washing up liquid and a soft cloth for £2. Mirrored is not my style but it will look nice lit on the mantlepiece:
Chaz 2: tapestry weekend bag (to keep the aforementioned item safe from cracking during transportation, and a small glass vase which will be very handy - £1 each. I gave the bag a wash and shampoo earlier and stuck it outside to dry, its too nice a day to waste. The nearest I can find to it online is this:
Chaz 3 today: a silk Monsoon blouse (not actually sure how much I will wear it), a Warehouse blouse, some Next summer trousers and a midi-skirt ((B&M) which may or may not get used £10 total. And this necklace for £3, looked unusual so I gave it the toothbrush treatment just now and its on the drying mat:
