Picked up a summer dress from Age Concern in Ripon yesterday. M& S heavy linen in a sand shade, calf length sleeveless with a slashed neck. The attraction was the decorative trim all the way round the neck and the hem consisting of teeny wooden buttons and tape worked into a pattern, fully lined and looked unworn, £6.99. The price tag indicated it was a size 16 but it looked a couple of sizes smaller than that but even tho I turned the dress inside out and looked al over I could not find a label inside with any info. Decided to take a chance and bought it. Of course when I got home I found the blimmin' label hidden in the side seam zip and it was a 16. Anyhoo it fits perfectly and is definitely mis-labelled size-wise, (praps that's why it was donated?)8

I went into three shops today. I bought my husband a "Dickies" rucksack as the one he uses for work has a rip on it. That was £5 from Harp. I didn't realise they sold clothes there now. I got a black and white winter jumper from St Vincent's. That will be washed and put away and hopefully not be needed to be worn for months now! I took a look in the hospice shop on Leigh Road, but didn't find anything.4

@Miró Markies labels these days are a right mess. Depending on the style or range, I can be anywhere from a 14 to a 20!I can’t remember whether I posted my last bargain so apologies if I did and forgot but I bought a bunch of fake leaves & flowers that my local cs was selling in a pot (I told them to keep the pot to sell to someone else!) to add to my hanging baskets of fake autumn leaves from SHEIN in my living room as there was nothing in the top. (The baskets were £2 each from Primark in the sale ages ago.)
The whole thing probably cost me less than £5 each & I’m quite pleased with how they turned out: (please excuse the scratch on the wall, we’re due to repaint soon!)“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. Some great buys - well done chazzer hunters.
I'm off to Suffolk for a weeks' holiday tomorrow. Staying about 20 minutes from Southwold. Hoping to hit the chazzers in the market towns thereabouts - very excited!!
