@goldfinches What an interesting brand! Love how they give so much info on fabric etc.
A little Sunday jaunt into Thirsk today and in one of the only two chazza shops open I found a washed silk shirt in a dark red/raspberry colour, as new and from Pure Collection priced at £4.75. Found it online selling @ £95 😳. The gentleman caller found himself a nice Viyella casual jacket with removable quilted lining, as new and priced at £11.50. Oh, and on the 50p table, two brand new ice cube makers with lids.5 -
What’s a lidded ice cube maker?
Asks the troglodyte who’s only ever had plastic/silicone trays….Why does Sherlock Holmes love Mexican restaurants? Because they give him case ideas.4 -

I bought a nice looking red fleecy jacket from the sale pile in a charity shop.
It was bobbled with a few tiny paint splatters.
So my de-bobbler and fingernail scratching at the paint about 45mins in front of the telly and I have an as new Rohan jacket.
£125 new. My price £3.
I'm not fussed about labels but had 3 people ask if it's a Rohan.
I have a Ralph Lauren top £5 - was looking for something to go over a swimming cossie, needless to say it doesn't. Fits way too well. Over£200 online.
My top buy was Rowland Cartier boots lined with white kid leather for£2! Now I have nowhere to wear them - but having them just makes me feel good even if they are now vintage
I can rise and shine - just not at the same time!

This weekend was a chazzer-free experience. I donated but did not actually venture into one.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.5 -
I popped out at lunchtime to send 3 Bay of E parcels and popped into 4 CSs. I got:
PDSA:
M&S Indigo range cable cardigan in oatmeal with flecks of orange, pink and green and little leatherette buttons - £3.50
Navy cross body bag - £5.50 (bit miffed that one corner is slightly worn, but found 2 bags for life inside plus 1p!)
BNWT Earth Squared navy/teal tweed handbag and matching scarf - £6.50 - to Ebay for charity fundraising pot.
Hospice of Hope:
3 bars of lavender soap, wrapped with a ribbon BNWT - £2 (for MIL for Mother's Day)
A long sleeved half zip running top in bright pink for when I go hiking for charity in April - £3.50
BHF:
The Little Venice Cake Company rectangular plate I saw last week and left - naughty - £3.99. Might Ebay it for my charity fundraising....or may not.....
Nothing doing in Oxfam and I left a Laura Ashley grey/cream 50% wool jumper in PDSA for £5.50

Went to the new YMCA chazza today that opened in Ripon on Friday next door but one from Booths supermarket. Bit of a disappointment. Huge place but very weird atmosphere. Cold and silent, felt had to creep around whispering! Lots of shoddy new goods from Nasty Gal and Miss Selfridge and the rest of the stock was pretty grim too.
Spotted a pedestal bowl in the hospice shop in Ripon a couple of weeks ago and it lodged in my brain. It’s handblown, (mouthblown?! 🤭), by Adrian Sankey of Ambleside glass. Dead plain apart from some blue swirlsi in the stem bit, 15” across so quite big! Pricy at £24.99 but I could not resist.

The bowl is beautiful Miro4
