@Cherryfudge - I love the personalisation! And so simple to do, I may give it a go should any garment require disguising.
Had a pretty fine time at the chazzers earlier today. 2 handbags at £3 each (I had to stop myself at 2, but could have easily bought many more!), a cute melamine sandwich tray with a Kidston-esque design, 2 scarves and a long woollen jacket from M&S for a further £5.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.7 -
Ermmmm….shouldn’t have moaned about the lack of bargains🤭
From the BHF shop in Thirsk today - a pair of Phase Eight black eveningy trousers in a patterned damask sort of fabric, £12 and an M & S midi skirt, also black, from the Herriot Hospice shop for £4.

@Miró, I've not been to the Thirsk shops for while but they are usually worth a look, and nicely arranged around the market square too. I really like those trousers.
@Rosa_Damascena, you did well! And of course scarves and a long woollen jacket are perfect coming up to November. I'm a bit disappointed you only got two bags. What are they like?
I've not bought anything today though I went to the eco festival in town so I've met all sorts of interesting people and learnt interesting things. A Repair Café from another town had a stall so I sat there learning repair techniques from them - so I have further ideas to try out on the fleece.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Miro - love the skirt.
I went in charity shops while in Nottingham - got home on Thursday. Usually have found good quality items at reasonable prices but not this time. Prices were high and not a lot appealed to us.

Other buys were a small tart tin - 49p and a new removable bases 9 hole tart tin for £4.95.
Last buys were 2 packs of Christmas wooden crafting shapes - 50p a pack.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

I love the skirt @Miró , very smart and reminded me that I have many similar that I haven't worn at all! Now its officially autumn I'm going to get my boots out and wear them with one of my numerous shawls on top.
Kintsugi is wonderful - brings beauty to the piece although once damaged it will never be the same as before.
