@Rosa_Damascena I'm a little confused why you've bought a fridge to take on your travels, unless you're channelling Tony Hawks?

It's a "beauty fridge" - designed to keep your creams, perfumes and lipsticks in optimum conditions. I shall be using it as a mini-bar.No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.9 -
Well I wouldn't have got that if you'd given me 100 guesses! I thought it was a wee thing to keep your makeup brushes in...
And that book is hilarious Floss, I'd recommend it to anyoneI had a hen who could count her own eggs - she was a mathemachicken.8 -
I thought it was a suitcase on wheels when I looked at the picture.
I think I will go out again and see if I can find a pashmina or at least some scarves. I forgot to look for books yesterday as well as I was carrying so much around the shop. I do read more in winter.2025 GOALS

Ooh, you lot are leading me into spendthrift ways. 🤣🤣 After a couple of weeks not finding anything I needed and liked, I had quite a good day yesterday so I'll break it into 2 posts with 2 photos each.
First up was a doorstop owl £4.50, which is a want not a need but I regretted leaving him behind last week. The 2 100% silk ties are for an upcycling project I have in mind. One was 99p and the other 50p in a different cs and the belt was half price at £1.49. The Pyrex jug which is a pattern I'd not seen before was 50p
The probable biggest saving for me was a pair of lined and weighted Rosedale damask curtains, 66 x 80 inches along with 3 matching cushion covers for £2.

I also found some clothing. A Windsmore lined skirt which is probably a midi but on me will be keeping my ankles warm 🤣 for £4, The Monsoon 100% merino jumper for £5 which will team with the skirt and the E-vie 100% cotton oatmeal longline jumper for £3.
And finally a Zara viscose top for £5 which needs a very tiny repair on one of the shoulder seams.
I was really pleased with my haul as they all fit into the revised colour scheme I'm using to rebuild my wardrobe now I'm back in the UK.
They also fit quite well for my desire to wear more natural and if I can afford it more ecological options although there is a lot of debate as to what is ethical/ecological these days. I do know though that I build up a lot of static if I wear polyester etc and have even removed paintwork from a car door by discharging onto it. 😱
All in all a spend of £26.48 which you can't complain about. 😁
Happy hunting everyone. 💕Aiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade Budget

I went back to Cornerstone and got my husband a Ralph Lauren shirt and a warm zip up blue jumper. I got myself a night shirt, and a copy of Pride & Prejudice to reread. I got my dog a teddy that she playing with now.
There were only a couple of awful scarves in the shop and the woman behind the counter asked me why I looked so serious.😆 I said I had wanted a warm scarf to wrap around my shoulders for when it gets cold in the evenings. The other woman went in the back and brought me out a beige blanket scarf. Brand new George at Asda for only £1. Perfect. It was all £14.
I did see the marmalade Rosa mentioned but I had spent all my change paying so I didn't buy any.2025 GOALS
