Do you buy your pet Christmas presents?

  I get a card from the dog (written by the bf or course as the pup can't hold a pen) and he loves to help us open our presents.

We get the dog a 'three bird roast' tin of dog food for his xmas dinner, and my mum usually sends him and the tortoise a present.
The tortoise gets his in March when he wakes up.

But I don't bother getting presents for the 50+ tarantulas

always, my cat gets a toy plus special cat treats, family & friends dogs & cats get good treats & we always put out extra seed & suet feed for the wild birds

We were at a friend's house and I gave their old male Burmese cat some turkey (was stripping it) he thanked me like an old amorous dog.

It was embarrassing for both of us!!

Most definitely yes! 

I discovered, when we got a dog that other people gave her gifts for both Birthday and Christmas. Thereafter I’ve felt obliged to return the favour. 

And of course it has extended.
But actually it is not a big deal,to wrap up a new harness and declare it as a gift. 

However it was interesting this morning when she insisted on taking all the chewed up wrapping paper back out of the bin bag to play again! 

I hadn’t realised just how many of my friends would give my dog a gift!

Update.  This is a huge hit - until the next cardboard box arrives!
