Do you buy your pet Christmas presents?

I don't buy my own pets presents for Christmas - but this year I have bought a present for my brother's new dog. An enrichment toy that I think will help make his life better - I would have bought it for him at any time though, I just happen to be seeing him at Christmas. My own dogs and cats have more toys, beds, treats etc than they would ever need and they don't know that Christmas day is different to any other. I definitely already spend enough on them!2

We don't buy anything but always save a large cardboard box and fill that with empty loo rolls / the brown packing paper that you always get loads of / off cuts of wrapping paper etc. Then a few small treats get sprinkled in there and voila.....hours of fun for poochShe also gets her own Christmas dinner and is free to tear up wrapping paper from opened presents, which she absolutely loves doing1

No. My cat does not care and already has a favourite toy. Treats, I feed high quality food so not buying cheap treats.

I have bought my family dog and my brother's new kitten a present each for Christmas.
My wife and I are also getting a puppy in the Spring and one of my wife's presents is puppy accessories and a new toy! We aren't having children through choice, and so intend to spoil our fur-son next Christmas. I imagine it'll be stuffed under the tree! We will, of course, donate toys that have retained their quality when he builds up a sizeable stash!0 -
Still an no.
I’ll leave that to his Nan who gets huge pleasure from helping him unwrap pressies and see him play with/eat them.
So it is for her benefit not for his.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
This is the first Christmas since 1978 that I haven’t had a cat
. I never used to buy them a Christmas present but they got a few treats like beef, chicken or other meat apart from turkey (I don’t like it). I bought Squeaky a cat advent calendar one year, each number had the same treat behind it, a cat shaped piece of something that looked like white chocolate.
She wouldn’t touch it. It disappeared and I couldn’t find it anywhere, it turned up behind a heavy sideboard when I moved house. I had my suspicions how it got there …1 -
Went into Pets at Home for my usual cat food, and came out with with a pop-up 'Happy Camper' cat cave. Just hope she likes it!

. I have bought a few nice cat beds over the years but they always seem to prefer a cardboard box. I have a photo of a cat who had managed to squeeze into a shoebox. How she did it I’ll never know
