Some fantastic overpayments over the last week mean we've shot right past the £400k hurdle, and are looking at a current total of £425,763.32. That's over 78% of our original targets for this year, very impressive given it's only June! Well done everyone5

Hello everyone. My discounted 2yr tracker is coming to an end 30th June. I will be moving onto a new 2yr tracker and ofcause it will tracking at a higher margin for the bank above Bank of England rate. As I was on a tracker anyway my monthly payments have been going up as rates have gone up but the tracker was much lower than the new one I will be on. With all this interest rate hikes in mind I have decided to massively reduce my mortgage balance. This is using money I had been saving as a building fund for an extension which I suppose I will put on hold until we know where we are ending with these mortgage rate hikes. This is number 34 here reporting an OP of £101k for june. That is £101000.00.Thank you @julicorn for keeping us updated!Initial mortgage bal £487.5k, current £258k, target £243,750(halfway!)
