It took me 6 guesses to get Wordle today. I'm blaming the fact that I did it at 2.30 am and my brain was mazzled 🤣. I got Worldle in one go. Now I'm going to Google heardle - not heard of that one. Pun intended 😉

Good morning ladies.

Merry Christmas everyone. Thank you so much for my Flylady cards and Secret Santa, which is under the tree 🌲 

I'm up and about, still feeling like absolute carpe, have no voice and a cough like the Titanic's foghorn 😜 But am getting on with it. The gammon is cooking and all the veg is out, prepared and ready for DH to cook everything later. The turkey was cooked yesterday, as were the potatoes, which will be gently heated in the oven while other stuff is cooking.

Have just gone round and tidied up the house, a quick dust and wipe through and am now doing a small bit of ironing while waiting for DH to get up at 10am.

No trip to the crematorium today, for mum's plot, as we have picked it all up and cancelled it, and is ready for us to take with us later this year when we move. That'll be weird not going there today. Have a candle lit in her honour ❤️

So all is left for me to do is say

Happy Christmas you lovely people. Grey and dull outside but cheery inside. Beef in slow cooker, veg prepared last night. Church at 10 and not planning a swim today! X
