Yes - but go through it and change some wording to say UKPC shot themselves in the foot by splitting up cases between two roboclaim firms and QDR pipped DCBLegal to the post.

    Bad luck DCBLegal!

  • So let me get this right.  So instead of asking for another SOR for the 2nd letter of claim received yesterday just copy and paste the letter from the 2 posts (change the bit about splitting up the claim) and send it to both email address?

Yes. Of course you don't ask for a SAR twice.

  • I must say that with Coupon_mad's two posts above, one must question ... do DCBL actually know what they are doing ?  IT SEEMS NOT ?

There is no doubt that the SRA should open a full investigation into the workings of DCBL

@Coupon-mad.  With regard to the PCN that was paid.  It was actually for a totally different location to the current ones but it was a MacDonalds.  Will this alter things?

Also the claim reference numbers on the 2 LCB's are the same so I have changed it to:

    Pre-action/recovery letters x 2 - ref xxxxx.xxxxxx dated 8th Dec & 15th Dec ‘22

    Is that ok?

    Doesn't really alter anything.

    Be robust.

Are the 2 LBCs talking about different batches of PCNs though?  I am surprised the solicitors' case reference is the same for different PCN batches.

  • Hi @Coupon-mad.  So we sent the email just before Christmas and today my husband received another letter of claim dated 28th December with the same reference number but with another 2 PCNs listed.  This is now a total of 13 PCNs for £2080.  Do we need to email them again.  DCB have not acknowledged the email sent.
Do you think these will end up going to court?
