He tried ringing 3 separate times but no one answered.Coupon-mad said:And did he ring the CNBC and email off a formal complaint (copy in DCB to stop them applying for a writ).
The amount involved means HCEOs could be - WILL BE - knocking in your door with a High Court Writ early next week.
THIS MUST BE REVERSED BY THE CNBC. NOW.
DO NOT WAIT.
DO NOT EMAIL THEN SIT BACK.
He is going to write/email tomorrow and is going to copy DCB in to inform them (he works 4am-2pm).
Just some advice if these people come knocking on our door what do I do, do they just post it through the door. I work from home half the week and don't want to open the door to a bailiff forcing his way in.0 -
No they will try to get a foot in the door. HCEOs can clamp cars first. And can come in doors/windows if open.
He will have to phone again Monday after work. You have to wait over an hour.
DO NOT PUT THE PHONE DOWN.
Tomorrow is too late to email. Do it NOW.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Will they take my car even though I am nothing to do with this (apart from being his wife)?Coupon-mad said:Email as him.

Expect your car to be clamped. Move it. Park it streets away.nomoredebt said:

No cars on the drive.
It will be released once the amount due has been paid. Of course that amount due will be 'enhanced' by the bailiff's excessive fee.2 -

We don't actually have a drive, my husband has just moved his car. Will they know what car mine is. Will we have to pay the fee to the bailiffs? Will it get refunded once he goes to court and hopefully wins? I have just gone through all the PCN's involved and all of them apart from possibly 4 are now over 6 years old, will this make difference?KeithP said:

Is this ok to send to the CNBC:Claim No. K6KF50Q6
FORMAL COMPLAINT
Dear Court Manager,
I am writing to you as I have received through the post a Judgement for Claimant (in default) ordering me (the defendant) to pay a total of £3729.34. The date of the judgement is 26/02/2024 but I have only just received this today as it was posted through the incorrect door and the person that lived there kindly hand delivered it.
I am insisting that the case is put before a judge to reverse the order without a fee because it is irregular.
The defendant has not received through the post a date to attend court so has not had the opportunity to have a hearing and defend himself
I am requesting to apply to stay the execution of the writ and set aside the judgement.
Defendant: Steven Allenby
Date: 01/03/2024
____________
Also he has just logged into his MCOL account and it says that the case was stayed on 23/01/2024, then the case stay was lifted on 26/02/2024, and then a Judgement was issued against you on 26/02/2024
Lastly: What email address do I send this to, is it this one - Ccmcc-certificatesofjudgments@justice.gov.uk0 -
No he needs to say and prove that he did defend, and attach evidence of that. And evidence of sending the DQ and the apology that you said he got most recently.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Some advice please, if the baliefs do turn up, am I advised to pay then hope that it gets sorted via the CBNC at a later date (eg my husband gets to go to court to defend himself)?0
