  • Lots of great updates running up to the end of the month.  Last day of February tomorrow and the sun is shining here so hopefully Spring on the way.

I am busy sorting out my budget for March contribution but as in January and February there seems to be lots going out at the moment. I am going to see if I can get my pot topped up to £100 by covering March plus a few more expensive days later on in the year.  I Like round numbers ;)

    The 365 Day 1p Challenge 2025 #1 £667.95/£301.35
    Save £12k in 2025 #1 £12000/£8000
  • Morning everyone. I hope everybody's saving is going well.

#73 here checking in with my February total. I mixed just over a week of the highest amounts with the lower amounts to give me a total of £37.25 saved in February (including a measly 3p of interest!). This takes my running total for the year to date to £42.21.

In March I'm going to do the same: start at the higher end of the year and work backwards for a week or so before reverting to the lower numbers. Also I've decided to think of any interest I add as a bonus, so I will still save £667.95 over the year, the interest will take me a bit over.
  • #63 final total for february is £92.01 which makes it £196.25 for the year.
will put my initial march payment in on the 2nd with any interest from february.
  • Hi, is it too late to join in this challenge? I am doing mine monthly but in reverse, so the big numbers go first, I do this as I use Jan Feb Mar payment breaks for council tax, water bills etc. So I have Jan £108.50 and Feb £95.85 in the pot.  I can track it on my signature then, many thanks x
Welcome and I have added you to the list.  You are #103

Well done on starting with the most expensive months.
