  • Well done @Saver-upper.  I am away for a few days so won''t be checking in but keep saving.  I am rubbish at it at the moment.  Loads of car bills and paying out holiday deposits for the year.

    Lots of updating to do so I will crack on with that. Well done all. My savings record this month is still shocking. 

    Just back from North London which is way busier than our little corner of Cornwall. We took my son in law up for an op on his arm yesterday at the Royal North London Orthopaedic hospital  as his nerves were damaged by him contracting sepsis 5 years ago so the various intravenous lines and drains  they put in him had compressed various nerves in his arm and shoulder leaving him unable to move his middle two fingers on his left hand. The difference is already amazing. How lucky we are to have the option for these surgeries on the NHS.
