I know exactly how you feel it’s just one pay day to the next with not much in the middle!! But you have paid a massive amount of money off since you started and that shows how well you are doing xPay off debt by Xmas 2023 #23My debt free diary https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6436651/clearing-my-debt-after-25-years#latest

Doing a little check in tonight, as well…. I'm sat in a hotel room on my own and I'm feeling pretty bored.
I've managed an £8.20 cashout on Prolific so thats todays PAD. I'll tally all these up at the end of the month and see how much of an impact it has actually made. I've completed £5.51 worth of studies today so hopefully they will cash out tomorrow in readiness for tomorrows PAD.
Tomorrow, my work expenses are paid into my account. They owe me £468, but these were all budgeted for in advance so this money can be alloctaed wherever I feel like tomorrow. Thats a good feeling Usually I would be waiting for these to pay them straight off the credit card.
Now I'm off to stare at prolific all night and hope something else comes up 🤣

Thanks for popping by @pidge04.
PAD stands for Payment a day. Alot of people choose to make a payment a day, even if its just £1 as it keeps them accountable. Make the payment and then check into your diary, that way you never lose focus.
I have a category in my budget for Padding, in May its £31, so I know I have at least £1 a day to put towards an extra payment. I do a lot of surveys that I cash out most days on, so I also add that to my Pad.
That sounds like I'm warbling lol. There is a challenge for Padding over on the challenge page that may explain it better.

Good evening everyone
Today has been a stressful day, I'm actually glad to get back to my hotel room.
My expenses went into my account this morning. I used these to cover the smaller outgoings from the budget so that more of it went green than orange
I didn't get much in the way of surveys last night but I have still managed to cash out, so todays PAD is £5.37. I'm going to be disappointed when the day comes that I only have my £1 now.
Payday is tomorrow for both of us so I'll be paying a large chunk off the debt and adding to my holiday savings. I need to payoff the apartment in Monaco on Friday, so it must only be 8 weeks until we go. Thats come around quick.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

Happy Payday to me!! (and the Husband hahahaha)
First thing this morning, I was wide awake at 4am and putting all the money in all the different budget categories. I have budgeted all the bills up to the 1st June. In reality this month is what I call my free month as both of us are paid 13 times a year (4 weekly) but payday is on June the 1st so I'm going to count next month as the free month just incase the bills come out before the money goes in. Plus I still have that to look forward to. Thats £1207.09 worth of bills that I won't have to pay out of next months pay. I haven't quite worked out what I'm going to do with that yet.
Anyway, I'm warbling but after all the money was allocated I had £408.53 left, we are using this to finish the side garden. After having the house for 8 months the dog will finally be able to go out of the backdoor for a wee rather than through the french doors in the dining room.
I haven't paid anything off the debt yet, I think I'll wait till I get home tomorrow for that but the payment for my laptop did leave the account today so thats another £31.88 paid off.
Tonight, I'm going to start writing my report for this weeks job, I have a week off next week so I don't want to be switching my work laptop on at all.
@Jrcoal5 We actually stay in a little french village but its a 40 minute walk to Monaco. My friends mother has an apartment there and she let us have it at a bargain price and we used air miles for the flights. We have 9 days there with flights for less than £500 for both of us. Seen as we weren't going anywhere else this year, we thought why not!
We work on the basis that we work hard for our money so we need to enjoy ourselves as well.

What an absolutely amazing deal for 9 days! And I totally agree with you, you must have something nice to enjoy for all your hard work throughout the year! Otherwise it just gets all to much and you loose motivation on the debts I think because life’s just passing by! Plus you work away so the time together is vitally important, my husband works 55-60 hours a week and when we have a holiday it’s so nice just to be together xxPay off debt by Xmas 2023 #23My debt free diary https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6436651/clearing-my-debt-after-25-years#latest
