I think the first one is pulmonaria.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Competition Time, Site Feedback and Marriage, Relationships and Families boards. This thread reminds me of a visit I had from a 'conservation officer' who chose February as a time to inspect the wild flowers and range of grasses in our fields. The sheep had been in there for about 3 months, and they'd eaten virtually everything, stomping and pooing as they went."Hmm," he said, "you don't seem to have much to show me."I've never wanted one of those blow-up mallets one finds children wielding at fairgrounds so much in all my life!

Apologise that the weather made the identification unnecessarily difficult. I mainly want to rule out they are not invasive plants like Japanese Knotweed or Himalayan Balsam.

The dead stems are too thin. Whatever it is, it's a perennial, and the only clue is it flowered a considerable time ago.In no particular order, I (think) I can see:Pulmonaria, Hellebore, Geum (or it might be the weed variety Wood Avens) Dandelion, Leucanthemum...or maybe a Poppy, Hypericum and a fair bit of what looks like Couch grass. There's also something from the dead nettle family...not necessarily a weed!HTH.2
