  • What company do you mean?  What's the phone number on the letter, does it match the helpline number on the gov.uk site?

The helpline doesn't actually seem to be much use though, from posts we've seen here.  Either you'll get it or you won't.

The bigger issue is why you're claiming UC as a single person despite being married, unless you live apart (in which case why is your wife's name on the electricity account?).

My wife is not claiming UC only me. I recorded the call and they said it has to be my name only on the Bill.
Your wife should be jointly claiming with you as a couple living together..... do you live apart... or is she subject to No Recourse to Public Funds due to immigration control?

If you live apart perhaps you should get your name on the bill?
If she has NRPF then she should be named on the Universal Credit Statements still despite zero payment and this may be useful evidence to argue case.

You haven't answered the question that's been asked a few times. Do you live with your wife? If you do then you should be claiming UC together as a couple.

Then why isn't she on the Universal Credit claim? A couple living together should be jointly claiming and joint circumstances taken into account to calculate U/C entitlement.

    Explain.....

Did you "report a change of circumstances" and then click living with a partner? Your wife will then need to start a claim of her own, you will then be sent a linking code to join both claims together.
Does she work? Have savings/capital of more than £16,000?

She couldn't have just been "put onto JSA" because that's not how it works. As i asked previously did you report a change of circumstances on your journal?
If you didn't then you need to do that now and she will need to start a claim. Any overpayment will need to be repaid back. Whether there's any entitlement going forward will depend on your joint circumstances.
You said she's your carer does she claim carers allowance?
