Still no Apple TV from qualifying Curry's Black Friday purchase

Couldn't find a thread anywhere else.

Has anyone else not received their free Apple TV subscription from Currys? I made an eligible purchase on Black Friday and still waiting for  a link or voucher code for the free Apple TV. Contacted them through live chat twice now and still nothing. Just wondered if anyone else was having issues.  TIA

Bought cheapest USB memory stick available for collection on 9 Nov, hassled Currys by live chat 2 weeks later. No idea if this had any effect but received code on 29 Nov. Subscription only available for new subscribers despite offer blurb.

We had to purchase a new vacuum cleaner and got a link for 6 months free Apple TV the following day.

Clicked the link and was up and running in a matter of minutes.

I think you need to hassle them.

Family sharing should make that a non issue.

Creating a new Apple Id made it a non-issue.

Apple tv+ includes family sharing on the standard plan (unlike Apple Music, and most other streaming services)

Using Family sharing means you can create a new Apple ID (as you did) and apply the trial to thay, but in the same family as your existing one.
You can then continue to use the existing ID

This keeps the watch list and history etc, and removes the need to login to all devices with the new ID

I've just been on live chat chasing my Apple TV from 29 November as mentioned in that day's MSE email. Kept me waiting ages then just said visit the store and closed the chat down! I gave appropriate feedback in their survey.
I'm not driving over to the store.
I only bought printer paper but it was listed as qualifying.
I've been getting a series of emails about my tech purchase lol.

Yes, the follow-up emails about your tech purchase are irritating, I only bought the cheap USB stick for 8 quid because they'd run out of 2 quid lightbulbs.

My extended "chat", name, address, order no., date, etc came to the conclusion I would have to ring the "special phone number" (it was their standard, infamous, Customer Service number). Sat on hold for half an hour and gave up.

So no, in my experience, hassling them will make no difference whatsoever.

Everything about Currys is just annoying.

I've just been back on and now advised that even though I was told to wait I have waited too long and now no longer eligible for the offer!!! I'm supposed to be getting a call back tomorrow from a supervisor but I'm not holding my breath.

Just as an update - after ringing several times and demanding to speak to a supervisor and being refused I was then on hold for about 30 mintes to be told that the promotion was no longer going and that I was too late to claim it. Asked to lodge a compliant and explained it was against trading standards to offer a promotion and then refuse to supply it if all the conditions were met.
Lomng story short about 5 days later received a phone call from an unknown no, spoke to someone who said they would get on to their pormotions dept and then 2 days later received an email with the link. Have activated it and it works. ***please be aware the link only lasts till midnight on the day sent if you do happen to receive one***

After chasing up and slow response I’m now told there was no offer on my purchase! There clearly was when I bought it as a result of the MSE email. I checked carefully!
