Day off today - I had a strong desire to get out of London so hopped on the train to Rochester and had a potter round the shops - it was good to have a change of scenery.  More coming in than going out over last couple of days and that's unlikely to change over the weekend as its my birthday tomorrow.   I'm still well within my 1 in 2 out target though!  

Tasks

• Changed drawer pulls on cabinet, desk and bedside cabinet.

My Decluttering:

- 2 social events arranged (baby froglets!)
- 1 erroneous invoice sorted out
- house insurance paid (dough decluttering!)
- 6 birthday presents wrapped and sent off

- 1 whole day decluttered in said wrapping (it always takes me ages, and I don’t even do frilly frou-frou ribbons and bows)
- 5 items of packaging from Justin’s stash used to wrap said presents (thank you, Justin)

- 1 long cardboard tube, formerly wrapping paper core, to recycling 
- 3 items of inbound junk mail intercepted and rerouted to recycling bin without landing
- bag of “soft plastic” to recycling bin at Post Office / SM

- 3 more items from “emergency” food stores used up
 

My new mantra: “Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”

Been decluttering today - my ankle is still slightly painful.
Up to 134 on day 12 - target 78.
So pleased that I have managed so much. 
Dentist appointment tomorrow so may be decluttering a tooth!

More wallpaper stripping today and 4 full bags gone out. Another pair of broken headphones and a telephone socket ( phone now connected through router) also binned. Several batteries bagged up and ready to go, 2 lots of cardboard packaging in the recycling and 3 old biros binned. Too tired to cook tonight so used up some of the lo xmas curry from the freezer. I seem to have decluttered my get up and go too and it has well and truly left the building, so we will have an early night and recharge our internal batteries. Goodnight all.

I haven't seen a hedgehog since I was a kid, which was a long time ago now! Haha. They are so cute.

Another donation bag for the charity shop, Two dinner plates and a coat so far. The "spare" Prince Harry books will be sent off as well tomorrow.:)

Evening All

Another evening of decluttering paperwork after an arduous day at work, it's been a bit of a week to be honest, but I'm determined to do a bit every night so I don't lose my mojo!

98 pieces of paperwork shredded, 8 pieces recycled. I swear the more I do, the more I get done, as in I seem to be doing a little more each day.

I have earmarked 2 holdalls for decluttering for the weekend, one for each day. They are both places where my things get 'tidied away' when I'm having a quick tidy up, I'm hoping to at least consolidate them into one.

nannywindow - I got a hole in the tooth and while waiting to see my Dentist - it has got a lot bigger so not hopeful that he can save it.
