Queen Jess ~ your health absolutely must come first. You have been so stressed out for some time with your work and now with this rule about coming into the office so many days a week. it really is time to pull the plug and find something else, with some time to breathe inbetween if thats at all possible. you know what they say about the empty glass! Its very difficult yo help others when your running on emptyNote to self ~ to take own advice! Why is it always easier to give it than to listen to it. But I'm at the point where im having to consider wherther or not to give up my footcarework. I am 'running on empty' and with this trigeminal neuralgia I am either in pain or exhausted from the pain! Trouble is with self employed wok, if I stop that's it and then if I could start back up at a later date, it would be from scratch again to build a new client base which is hard going and slow!♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Not decluttering but a brag about my eldest getting kept on after his apprenticeship 🎉
I've not done any decluttering other than losing my marbles while everyone been off school and work 😂 planning to get in bed and watch TV with a coffee after they all left Monday and make a plan of action as the house work has got away from me tbh17 -
Hi all,
Another one checking in from the TLC carriage - I've had this non-Covid lurgy that's been going round, for over a week now. 😞 I think it's getting better but the Internet is full of comments about how it keeps coming back. I've felt 'better' a couple of times already only to be floored again the following day; and that's with taking it easy!
On the much more positive side, I've received the paperwork through regarding the house purchase contract. I had a couple of queries so not signed and returned yet but so much closer. 😁😁😁 I can almost feel the cats curled up beside me again.
Being in the TLC carriage means very little in - but I have been buying plants for the new house as it's that time of year. Although it's only a small garden I'm hoping to have various fruit and veg available to hand if possible. I've gone for some soft fruit, blueberries and blackberries - there's some autumn raspberries there already - and a fig. Not spent a lot as they are only tiny specimens but they will grow and it's going to be a while before I can fully concentrate on the garden anyway.
I'm still not getting too excited because of that crazy thing of 'not wanting to jeopardise things' by believing they are happening. 🤣
At my DS and DDiL's house they have a bad mould problem. It's their first house and it was obviously a 'flipped' property that's been done as cheap as possible. There was mould over the summer and now that winter is approaching and the external humidity is hitting 100% (this is Wales 🤣), it's rampant again. So I have to hold my hand up and say that I've encouraged stuff into the house even if I didn't pay for it. In this case, following recommendations on various forum threads, a dehumidifier arrived yesterday.
It measured the indoor humidity as 85+%!! So today it's been on and the humidity is down to around 60%. The kitchen feels so much warmer and pleasant already. Once it's stabilised I'm going to attack the mould with bleach and hopefully kill the spores. I first have to find a spray bottle - not a single one seems to be available as obviously the only thing we want to buy now is Christmas stuff. 😱 I think I'm going to have to head out of town to The R4nge tomorrow and see if they still have one on their shelves.
Hugs and commiserations to all those who need them and @QueenJess, I'm another one saying, look after your mental and physical health as a priority. It's a long way back after a full breakdown. ❤️❤️
Love to all of you and happy decluttering, (I'm actually looking forward to getting all my boxes and seeing what I really want to keep). I'm sure 2024 is going to be a great year for me decluttering wise..💕💕Aiming for a Champagne Lifestyle on a Lemonade Budget

Car collected yesterday and my bag of soft toys is in my bedroom where I can keep my eye on it. Washing machine running ok with no noises.Everything ready for hospital check in tomorrow afternoon and the only decluttering I plan to do is emails but only if I feel like it. I am going to spend the next fortnight putting me and my health first and will either watch tv or read when I have the chance to relax a bit.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅14

@dND.. I am sure the house feels so much better already!
Just wanted to say I was advised hydrogen peroxide as a treatment for mould as bleach makes it retreat then throw out more spores.. I know there are other effective treatments as well and am sure the wonderful peeps on here will fill in my blanks..
☺️

Total = 365/365.Like the embroidered ones I haven’t used in many years I wasn’t going to open the box, so off they go.

Hellooooo
Caught up on pages! It’s like a series of short stories and great when I don’t want to read anything lengthy. I am actually in bed munching twiglets with dog1 snoozing and dog2 being hopeful. He’s decided this year to jump every time a firework goes off….he’s a tad over dramatic!!!
My charity snowflakes are going well, getting ready to sell. On the whole I’ve enjoyed making them but am needing something different now!
Usual household rubbish going out. I think the green bin stops very soon so I’ll have to attack the weeds tomorrow.
I couldn’t get into Silent Witness - I can’t stand Amanda Burton! Not personally obviously but every character she seems to play seems so very smug 🤨🤨🤨
have a good day tomorrow peeps xx⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Hi,I quite agree Muddywalker, this thread is like catching up with short stories, that is exactly what I like about it. For me it's like having work colleagues when you don't have any anymore! I also find Amanda Burton smug. Poor woman can't help that she looks like she is smirking all the time.
Ocean spirit, Bonne chance for your hospital stay. xx
daisy, I don't recall that conversation but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. I sometimes find out when I read Mrs SD's posts that I have missed pages at a time!
Those with returning under grads, they still call when they are stuck, even in their 30's! Mind you,I could call them these days if I am stuck. It's nice that they still ask for advice even though they are adults.
Talking of work colleagues, in my email blitz I found several from people I used to work with enquiring after me and asking to meet up.Whoops. It is one of my faults, never thinking that people would like to see me. I have now replied.
So,no painting occurred. What did happen was I emptied all the sweet factory boxes out from under the stairs to look for the missing door curtain. Nope, but found a box of Arthur Wood pottery that I used to have on display in the old kitchen. I will decide what to do with it tomorrow. An amount of large Christmas decorations were bagged up for the chazzer, emptying 2 boxes. There will be more when I actually put decorations up,that was just a quick sweep. I am down to 4 boxes of decorations now. I used to have about 10. One box I filled again with part used paint tins etc which had come in out of the shed. Mr V says he is going to have everything out of the storage shed tomorrow to look for the curtain. It was such a rush when we had to pack up the downstairs of the house before the builders came, I don't know where I have shoved it.
Mrs SD, I will take some photos of the drawers tomorrow. I will need to grasp the nettle and try to get back on mse on my phone before I can post them.
I will do numbers again.
Take care Vx:16
