Major concern right now is we are expecting the edge of a hurricane to come through on Sunday. Will have to figure out whether the dog needs to come in as in big rains our backyard gets about three inches of water.
And stay safe yourself with the hurricane!! Maybe you could stand outside with those signal things they use at airports to redirect the wind to the north. Bro1 up in BC could use a bit of that rain to deal with the fires they're having.
Meanwhile on the decluttering front..... I've been noting to myself how many of my tshirts have stains or holes (shoulda kept Ariadne's claws shorter, silly puss) and am consciously lining them up to wear them over the next couple of weeks and then to go in the bin rather than the washing basket. Likewise with bras that are looking beyond sad. I'm off across the pond in a few weeks which is where I source most my tshirts and bras so will be happier bringing some back if I know I have room for them.
And last night I made soup so decluttered 2 courgettes (1/3 of each to the soup and the rest prepped and in the freezer), and 2 containers with stock. One was a pot of veg stock powder that simply looked unhealthy and the other were some cubes in a jar that had started to liquidise - yuck!!! also finished the last of the lentils and the spring onions.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Gradually getting there with my Project Checking Awards and now it is time to update your records TC77 😉 I am sending you one Gold Star ⭐️ which I missed awarding when you reached 512/2023 on p356 😊 There is also more good news …… you had reached 1035/2023 on p599 (when I awarded you a star 😉) Then 1044 on p600 & since then you have taken 150 pics off your phone on p602; 3 frogs moved along on p606 + 2 bags to CS; P611 a bag to CS. You then started from the wrong point on P617 & worked from 847 (up to 900 then to 950 & then to 980) THEREFORE the good news is that your ACTUAL number is 1,189 🥳
MrsSD 😊

Hello,
I hope everyone has had time to enjoy the sunshine today. I have spent most of the day closeted in the kitchen with the contents of the hall cupboard but did stroll to and from the parish church this afternoon to listen to a brass band concert.
I felt quite anxious when I was sorting stationery, which is the first time decluttering has affected me that way. It is all back in the cupboard now. I may post a photograph.
I missed 5 cake tins from yesterday's kitchen clear out.
From the hall cupboard:
1 shredder to niece - I have access to one at work
13 jigsaws, a birthday badge and two foil birthday balloons, a small set of cardboard drawers, 5 ring binders, 1 lever arch file, 3 sets of dividers, unicorn operation game, colour in journal, 2 calculators, a book, 28 notebooks (there were 110 in the cupboard when I started), a to-do list pad, 14 gift bags, 21 shopping bags (will be used for putting donations in but I am counting them now), 3 project books and 2 packs of revision cards to the charity shop
2 boxes of OOD LFTs, a dried up glue stick, 19 dried up pens, 2 tatty pencil cases, 1 broken zip file, 9 almost empty or damaged notebooks, crumpled sticky back plastic, 38 notelets with no envelopes (not a standard size either), an old accounts book (LSD not decimal!), 16 large, bent paperclips and a bendy ruler to the bin/ recycling
17 pens, 125 postcards (will count as 13), a noteblock, 10 pads of sticky notes, 27 bulldog clips and 30 scrap pads to our workplaces
A pack of wrapping paper and 2 pads of writing paper to a friend
I still have my handbag left to do but may leave that until tomorrow
Total: 440 ( I shall increase my target to 1000)
Have a good evening everyone!

Crikey! Only stepped off the EDT on Tues and there was 50 odd messages to catch up on !
It's been so lovely to have some sunshine at last! I've been enjoying lounging around time in the garden which has helped recharge me!
Had a visit yesterday from a lovely friend from the Midlands who I haven't seen since before Covid. We had a lovely "London" day - walk along, and a meal on, the South Bank, wander over Westminster Bridge to St James Park. My dodgy knee was very sore as a result so I have taken it easy today.
Tasks:
0IN (running total 142)
143. Set of water glasses
OUT (running total 505)
506. T.Shirt
507. Set of ornaments
508. Lucky cat
Congratulations to your DC TC77 & Flowerpot (love the cake!) - hope I haven't missed anyone!

Mrs SD, a huge thank you for doing my numbers and awards... I can't believe ( but I do over the years) how you keep track of us all and motivating us all.
On way to friends bbq and been through my clothes like a teenager not finding anything to wear ... there are a few things for cs as if not comfortable wearing to friends informally then should pass on. Too good for gardening clothes of which I have many esp given how little gardening I do!
Wine fro stash being taken.18 -
Top shelf usually contains a couple of folding crates but they are in use for laundry
Second shelf has stationery - there are still too many notebooks but they shall be revisited
