Had a rest day yesterday in the talc carriage with a book OH chose for me from the library. Did nudge a frog along and it’s out of my hands now for a few weeks.Congratulations on A level results and uni places. Love the cake - did DS enjoy the pink ponies?Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅16

Mrs SD, my thoughts exactly with cooking. I am so over deciding what to make, shopping lists and then making whatever. If I ask for suggestions the family just say I don’t mind or if pressed whatever you make is nice. So over it.DD has gone for a haircut. She is having layers to encourage her curls. Think Kate Bush but with conditioner! We are then going into Manchester, shopping. We went for lovely Middle Eastern food last night.I am mentally earmarking things for the chazzer as I pack up the two bedrooms. Every thing has to be clear for the decorator. It really has been like moving house again, but I have noticed far, far fewer boxes than previously.Congratulations to folk’s offspring. The first proper post Covid cohort. I LOVE the cake.Congratulations and commiserations to you lovely people. I enjoy keeping up with all your news.Vx:19

Another one adding congrats to all the DD's and DS's who are going onto Uni. Well done to anyone with favourable results.
I've been in and out of the TLC carriage with my health issues, medication problems and frustration at not getting an appointment at my surgery as it now seems that some of the receptionists decide who gets triaged 😡. Anyway I finally found one who would listen and not fob me off at the first hurdle and now I have an appointment for next week with a GP. Sorry that turned into a rant.
RL has been really busy for the last couple of days too with both DGC being here for separate sleepovers. They're back again on Sunday but together this time plus their hamsters, for a few days while DD and SIL go to Amsterdam for a birthday celebration. I had to go shopping again this morning to restock my fridge and cupboards this morning before the constantly starving twosome arrive 😂 I'm really looking forward to our relaxing holiday in Sept, think I'll need it by then !
I have managed to declutter a plastic plant pot and a plastic carry box for woodworking tools that had a broken handle. Also gone 2 bins full of garden waste and of course the normal household waste has been recycled.
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.

Good grief, Friday already?? Where's the week gone??
As ever, I have picked the low hanging fruit. Having said that, am up to date with laundry, have defrosted the freezer and am about to have a shredder and hoover emptying session in that order.
2637-2645: carriers back to delivery driver kerching!
2646-2688: items to bin
2689-2705: items to recycling
2706-2708: 150 emails deleted
2709-2732: 24GB data deleted
2733: shredding
2734-2737: 2 bin bags and 2 lots of recycling to downstairs bins.
Congratulations, commiserations to all as needed.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

It feels like it’s been Monday all week 😢 soooo busy at work that not much energy left over.
I did declutter part of the front hedge - it had a good cut. As there was still some charge left in the hedge trimmer I had a go at other stuff. Def not Gardeners World standards, more lopsided tidy but it’s better!
Jab day when hubby gets home…..went to bed for an hour and woke up very grumpy. Nice hot shower and a wash on…..and I’m still grumpy! Dogs want their tea but it’s too early.
anyway take care all…..new neighbours not yet arrived, starting to fret in case they are horrible…⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering
