Florence, great news that DH is walking with zimmer unaided. Your toothbrush will have company soon.
Mission Control is nearly clear. An admin frog dealt with this morning. Now on to final packing and cleaning of kitchen etc. Will stay with friend this evening ready to go off for our adventure early in the morning.

Love the bathroom @Florenceem - you will have a lovely 'new' house for when Mr F gets back. Did some bits and pieces yesterday but not much to count. History meeting this morning then will probably go to a new garden centre DS2 spotted. His job takes him to very rural areas and he keeps reporting back on farm shops, cafes and garden centres. His trip to seaside yesterday was disappointing as it was dull and cold. Weather has been very different along East coast to the rest of the country. Yesterday was a little better here and it is sunny now. I have a plan to wash all my rugs and throws so I will count the first one as done and back where it belongs.

@Soontobeoap re water proofing in the WM, you buy the product which is then added to the machine. Can be purchased from hardware store, outdoor activity store or online.
I seem to have been getting stuff out as there is space again here in the back bedroom where we dine and procrastinate/planI even sorted and tidied my real tupperware and let some of it go. I have some visiting tupperware to offer out and added to it. The other items now fit much better in the cupboard.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Saturday is another lovely sunny hot day. DH & I, to our shame 😔, only got up at 10:45. We are having a cuppa then heading off to his niece M’s place in Walthamstow, to help her declutter (she is moving to Kent to be closer to her sister).
oceanspirit, you have worked hard so poor timing or not, you deserve a break with your friend 😊 I think it will be quite good for OH to have a while to settle in 👏
Excellent decluttering QueenJess 👏 You definitely have the bit between your teeth & are motoring along 🤩 Not too sure that the EDT can keep up with you 🤣
Siebrie, you must be so proud of DD2 🥹 Interesting concept - respond as ‘a hothead, a wimp or a champion’ One girl among 60 pupils 🤔 Well done to DD1 for ‘not partaking in all the ‘fun’’ - definitely easier if you have a friend of like mind & again you must be so proud 🥹 You are raising 2 strong young women 👏
Brie, enjoy your new water butt 😊 Fingers crossed the old one will be taken quickly 🤞
GrannyKate, would have been nice if DS2 had offered to take you to the seaside & treated you to some fish’n’chips 😉 Good decluttering & congrats on being on track with the 1p Challenge 👏
Yah boo to the plumber, Florenceem 😒 Really annoying when someone just doesn’t turn up 😠However, you still managed to get a lot done 👏 I hope someone assisted you getting on & off the bus, with your shopping trolley 🤞
We are off now, so will post this & try harder to catch up this evening 😉

Enjoy your day out Mrs SD 😊 I am sure the extra helping hands will be very welcome.QueenJess - thank you for the link as I shall enjoy watching some of those videos. Good luck with your wardrobe! I am viewing mine with an upcycling eye for the items that I don’t wear much. Especially, if I particularly like the fabric. I need to get creative and if I can’t, then things will go.Three large bags for life have gone to charity shops and are out of my hallway. Time to start a new bag! I have some new sandals and flip flops; the uncomfortable shoes have gone. One pair were unworn and two were only worn once.Hope you all have a good weekend and that the weather improves for some of you.15

2 litres of tomato juice (from M7S!!) decluttered as I noticed they were beginning to balloon. Checked and no, they didn't need to be in the fridge (they weren't) and yes, they were best before January. Hmmmm. So much for bloody marys any time soon..... (& we don't have vodka anyway)
No offers yet for the water butt which is a shame. I did post a message to someone I know who has run a community garden for a number of years in case they wanted it but it appears she's stepped down due to health (not surprising in her late 80s). Might message another friend who has an extensive garden on the off chance she could use it. Having a small hole (it literally is just a slow drip) obviously is a deterrent to some people.
And off to put the last of the laundry out on the line and then tidy the boot of the car with the recluttered shop display bits. I'm sure there's a lot in there that no one I know will want so will divide it into - me&friends, charity shop, tip - know that things may slip from one category into the next quickly. But currently it's taking up the entire back of the car (VW up with the back seats down) and rattles a lot when I'm driving so it's bugging me.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. OH - any meant to mention - that stuff you purchase to waterproof jackets can also be used on pillow covers for the cushions you use out doors. Won't make them actually waterproof of course but will ensure that the rain/dew doesn't soak in quite so quickly which gives you time to get them in before their soaked through.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. That's two more books added to cs pile: Little Women and Good Wives. Thoroughly enjoyed re-reading them both.
Anne of Green Gables to be followed by Anne of Avonlea next.
