Afternoon allYesterday, I managed to declutter a drawer in the lounge, then DP got up and wanted to go for a walk to get his hair cut, so I joined him for that. We live about a mile from town. I managed to talk to the undertakers when I was there. My ex-husband died suddenly in April last year. Anyhow, they gave us very useful advice on where his ashes can go. I went to the Crematorium after my cleaning job this morning with our DS and we have decided on a resting place in the wooded area with an entry in the book of remembrance. It was difficult but had to be done. DS was 20 when he died so it's been really awful.18

Out: 1 T-shirt with holes, that was already demoted to sleepshirt, and was thrown out at the end of our week's stay at my parents'.We never put up a chrismas tree, as dds (11 and 14) didn't put away the mess their crafts had left, so there's no christmas stuff to put away.Husband bought 2 new wintercoats, I made him throw out 2 similar ones (hold your horses, they will be donated). This thread is moving too fast to read in detail, so I skim-read for inspiration and good ideas.Sometimes, my clearing stops at 'not here'. As in: this hairbrush belongs 'not in the kitchen'. I may put the brush on the first flat surface outside the kitchen door, on its way to its proper place, but at least it's no longer in the kitchen. Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5918

Hi All
Not caught up with thread as
Have been out all day helping elderly family get to hospital appointments etc but will soon
This doesnt count i know but am working on not being a people pleaser
( trying to declutter some unhelpful behaviours of mine)
Put in a firm clear boundary today with someone who is very controlling and getting worse with age. I dont think they even noticed but i felt much better! Didnt get run round in circles with them as usually do.

I've been sorting and decluttering all day and I have 28 things to go to local charity shop. I've binned 8 things including 2 Christmas ornaments I accidentally knocked over. One was special and I'm sad about that. I've also put a bundle of cardboard in the recycling bin - I tend to collect storage boxes of any kind but today I let several cardboard ones go.
I reuse Christmas cards by cutting the backs into rectangles and using these for shopping lists over the year. Another job done ✅.Tomorrow I might tackle a kitchen drawer that holds loads but is always a mess.Debt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

@daisy_1571 - I know. It is especially hard to bring her in on really bad weather days because she gets into everything. I have contacted the Huskyrescue group but I may need to put up some notices. I have even been known to stop people who are out walking their huskies.18
