Batteries and saving sessions

About to turn everything on - 2 cars, electric heaters, washing machine etc for the 3 hours 1-4....

12kw - shame the hot tub isn't set up....

Haha... same here although annoyingly SolaX have decided to do maintenance so i can't log in to charge my batteries, this is a massive flaw in my plan...

It says there is another one tomorrow 430 till 6 - so the 'abuse as much as i can' period should be 1230-1530, is that right?

But it isn't, at least its not explicitly stated that way, the only way the 4-1 trick came about is because people bothered to read the ESO demand and flexibility guidelines.

Yup - the longer the period the more advantageous the 3 hour daily adjustment is - plus my app of choice, Hugo are doing 5.72 per kwh tomorrow - if I bump the baseline by 10kw per hour then we are talking 10(kwh) x 1.5(hours) x 5.72 = £86 less 30kwh at 45pm per unit = £13.50 a fair bit of which I would have purchased anyway at 4.5p per unit.  Should be North of £70 profit

I'm going to put a 'but' in there - what about your average usage over the last 2 weeks or however long, ie. The other baseline? 
That could drag down your calculations?

Average usage is zero (well about 50-100w) - or would be, I suspect it will be bumped up a bit by prepping for the saving session today.

I believe (but am not certain) that previous saving session days are excluded from the calculations.

Looking at the chart on Drax Insights, it looks like Coal never rose above (what I would assume is) standby power of 900MW, so I guess the session worked? Peak was 43GW, a bit lower than Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday last week. Friday and the weekend were a bit lower though.
