Not quite so easy at that time of day, I'm not up to be putting 2nd loads in the washer and it's a bit early to have the oven on.

I reckon National Grid have realised they have to pay out less to the energy companies for morning sessions.

Oven was overdue a pyrolytic clean, so the GCH got a helping hand with warming the house before breakfast today, then we exported the entire session period so hoping for a decent saving despite not usually using much 9-10.

At around 9.45 am we were generating about 750watts but the iBoost diverter was being greedy and as a consequence was importing over 100 watts from the grid. Earlier in the session it had been ok. I ended up switching it off and just exporting. The CT clamp isn’t very accurate and I can’t adjust the threshold on mine.

Probably another 20 odd today half of which will be profit - based on most recent results though - it looks as if they may not be removing previous saving days from the on the day adjustment period calculation.  I think this was session 5 or 6 out of a max of 10?

After the people that don't game it and only make 10-100p give up and the word gets out what will the real demand reduction be? The real gain will be in smart EV chargers moving load to off-peak mostly in the night.
