Site posting & login problems noted last few days [Merged]

I suspect a problem with a cookie. I'm trying to find more data.

FYI - we run Chrome and not noted the prob today, but not logged in for long. We shall see.

I have been having he same issue, it usually logs me out and I have to sign back in to post again. It happens on my laptop, desktop, tablet and phone. I use Chrome but did login on Edge to test and the same happens, three times today so far.

Same here with W11 / Firefox.

Have had to log back in twice today already - 'Keep signed in' is ticked.

Annoying! :-(

Was congrating 2 users re their prizes and got chuked out in 3 mins as i posted - often happens as I post

FWIW It seems okay in Safari.

Logged in for first time today at 12:22. I have had to login again at 13:26 and 14:28 so its definitely one hour before it kicks you out.

There has been no change in the number of moneysavingexpert.com and forums.moneysavingexpert.com cookies before and after being kicked out nor after logging in again, but I can't see what's in them.

Hi another update and a more detailed one, ie bits I forget that may be important.

Logged in a few mins ago
Was responding to a post.
My post would not upload.
A small bar appeared bottom left of my screen stating 'you do not have permission.'
I tried 3 times.
The system logged me out. (it has done this before the last few days forgot to mention)
Then I logged back in, and as per previous experiences, I was able to contribute to the thread in question.

I have just posted this on Compers Chat Forum as I didn't realise there was already a post for the fault.

There appears to be a problem staying logged into MSE's Competitions Time although it may be a problem with MSE's Forum's in general.

This only started happening today. I use the Competitions Time Forum everyday and just leave myself logged in so I can come back to the Tab whenever I want. 

Once logged in on a few occassions (not every time)  when I have clicked on a link to a competition to enter and then come back to the Forum list of competitions I have been logged out of MSE. I then have to log in again to continue onto another competition. 

If I click on another tab on my computer and come back to MSE within a few minutes I have again been logged out. 

Is it me or is it MSE? If it is me what is the problem? My cache, cookies etc. are cleared everyday. At this present time I do not have a problem with any other website that I am logged into and the problem only started this morning.

I'm sure MSE will use this info on Monday to see what is what
My probs started a couple of days before I intitated this thread and have updated it several times

Are you or anyone else finding at times when you go to post a comment especially when you have added a quote, you get a message something like 'you don't have permission - small bar in which message is and it disappears -but soon after that you get logged out.
