As said earlier, it's in their Privacy Policy - right at the bottom.

There's a link to their privacy policy at the bottom right of every page on their website.

Got it by scanning the UKPC website

is it a crime to list it in here ?
No but bear in mind we deal with a hundred cases per day in our own time, for no reward, and we have busy lives too.

I have 4 (uni age 20-somethings) young adult offspring and as a busy Mum myself, I wrote the NEWBIES thread when I had a full time job and my four were very young.

On a laptop you can just have the NEWBIES page open, do 'control & f' and pop in DPO. Takes you there.  Just Google for UKPC's privacy page.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • The next roadblock is that literally every single utility bill is in my name and not my partners.

Water, energy, council even her phone is in my name as I got a discount on having an additional line.

She has an apple £2.49 invoice and that’s it.
    Would that do?
  • Would a credit card statement suffice ?
  • Right, email sent.
The documents I attached hopefully to prove who my partner is was:

A Apple invoice for her monthly storage

    A british gas homecare agreement

A Confirmation of registration details (From when she bought the car brand new) Although this has her old address on it. I’ve also asked them to remove old address details.

Note that the DCB legal letter was sent on 28/11

What exactly are my next steps ?

I want to avoid any potential CCJ or the money going up
  • Should I appeal and raise a complaint directly to UKPC.

Even if it doesn’t help me, i’d like to raise a complaint, as long of course as it won’t hinder me.

I’ve raised hundreds of complaints, one thing I am good at… I’d like to give them a difficult time and waste their time. It will help my mental health.

So does everyone!  All the other new posters are exactly like you.

Neither can happen (neither a CCJ nor huge costs added) if you follow our advice in the NEWBIES thread.  You are not at risk of a CCJ. Not unless you ignore a court claim!

Getting a court claim is not getting a CCJ.  It is the stage when people win.

  • Is there anything I can be doing whilst I wait for this SAR response ?

Do I need to do something with regards to the letter being sent on 28/11 ?

In your opening post you mentioned a Letter of Claim but you didn't tell us the date of it.

Is that Letter of Claim the 28/11 letter you are now referring to?

If so, @Umkomaas explained what you need to do in the first reply you received on this thread...
    Umkomaas said:
A Letter of Claim is the start of the legal process, and you need to respond to it. How you do that is shown in the NEWBIES FAQ Announcement, second post, so please read that and use it as your guide.
