Yes - a new claim for new style ESA on the basis of NI contributions can.

What is the health condition that prevents you from working, and can you get a GP's fit note?

Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.
  • I've had Esa for a year now but have to claim again, I'm unsure what benefits I'll be getting but I'll get a fit note easy enough

Have you had a work capability assessment? if so what was the decision on that? I don't think it's as easy as just claiming again but others will know for sure.

if you have had it for a year and it stopped paying because 365 days.   You will have to leave a gap of 12 weeks before claiming again.  It is dependent on a new tax year so you may not qualify, usually people will qualify for a second year.
Have you had a WCA health assessment and decision?
  • I had a WCA at the start of my claim. My main concern is will income from a house I rent out affect it?

No (if it’s just the one house and you are not the owner of multiple rental properties).

Presumably the WCA found you to have Limited Capability for Work and you have been in the WRAG group which Is why the ESA has now stopped.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Our main concern is that you don't know what you are doing. and we are trying to help you.
  • Yes I have,  if I was to sell the house would that capital affect any claim?

Any amount of capital and or assets will not affect a new claim to ESA.

What date did your last ESA claim end on? and what date are you going to claim again from?

Capital does not affect a new style ESA claim.
I don’t know what ‘Yes I have’ refers to.
