  • Morning

Sorry not been around - mixture of rushing around and being a bit down in the dumps :(   Although I have the money saved for Christmas, it still seems like a lot of spending at this time of year.  We don't go mad, but just the additional meeting up with people etc, and because of the time spent sorting things for Christmas, money saving and money making goes a bit by the wayside.

Saying that, we've still managed to get to £241.28 - mainly through overtime, nectar points, prolific and bank cashback, so that's pretty good.

  • Well done @Hollie_Hobbie, that's a good amount. I know what you mean about it seeming like a lot of spending at Christmas. I get very cross about the amount people spend. We never did spend a lot, but have cut right down this year. Only presents bought are for the GKs and they only get £25 each now there are 4 of them. Just got a cheap piece of meat for dinner and certainly not going overboard on silly food treats, just a small box of festive cakes and some cookies incase we have any visitors and DH has a few bottles of beer in.  DH and I said we would rather book a cheap holiday for next year than spend silly money on Christmas.

  • £13.87 today, taking me over my monthly target  £157.85/£155. So even if the rest of December is slow, I have at least done target, and to think I was worried I wouldn't manage it this month.  Everybody is doing so well this month considering the time of year.

  • I’ve just done my first Prolific study. That’s weirdly satisfying.

I counted £2.17 from an old and forgotten bank account I closed down.

Another £13 over the last couple of days in Cashback and Curious Cat surveys.

  • Just £1 today from CCs.
