Morning everyone. I had the funniest moment yesterday. Somebody from the Village Hall Committee (where I applied unsuccessfully for the role of booking clerk) phoned me and asked if I could train the successful applicant in the job as they did not have all the correct skills which I did - I have to be honest and say that my reply was a two word answer and the last one was off!!!! I mean really - it's not just me is it?
My eye is still not 100% right but I can see ok and the pain is not unbearable so I'm going to live with it and hope it is back to normal by Monday

Good morning everyone.
I have been awake since silly o'clock today because I woke up having a nightmare that I couldn't do the chippy job because it was too hard - what the heck is wrong with me! Although my prowess in the kitchen is a little debateable so it's always possible! I think my confidence is still a little fragile after my last job hunting experience
Anyway that extra time has meant that I have been able to cash in another £5 voucher from Mistplay and make me feel really tired already but hey ho I shall just keep going and flop early tonight
Hubby is working today and son has made plans to go into City so it's just me and my puppy dog today. Hopefully I will get lots of MFW tasks crossed off my list today. They really do seem to add up - OH had to buy a new car booster and batter charger from Amazon and he could not work out how he got £35 taken off the price - he was well chuffed with himself until I told him that I had added the vouchers to the account from doing surveys, playing games etc. Think I shocked him as to how much these little things can really add up
Anyways, enough rambling (my diary is boring enough) - here's today's little list:-
- Play on Mistplay - DONE 307 points today and cashed in a £5 voucher
- Add £5 voucher to Amazon pot and transfer £5 into OP savings pot - DONE
- Complete a Nectar survey or two - DONE one survey completed for 20 points and timed out of 2 so 4 more points to be added today
My balance is now over £13 so I'm happy
- Attend interview at Chippy (they moved it to today so must be desperate for people) - DONE I've got a trial shift on Wednesday evening and the good news is they pay living wage plus it will rise once I am settled in
- Post in 3 FB groups promoting my business with a hope I will get some more orders as I really need some
- Comment on In search of posts on FB in the hope I get some orders - commented on one hoping to find more as the day goes on
- Check free postcode lottery - DONE not a winner
- No heating - DONE not on at all and it's now 3.30pm and no plans as I am warm enough without out. Just hope OH doesn't get cold like he did last night!
- Find a small way to save electric
- Earn some points on swagbucks (hoping to reach daily target)
- Enter 3 competitions - DONE
- Open High interest savings account or ISA
- List two item on FB Marketplace
- Look into selling on TikTok
- Complete a task on OhMyDosh
- Try to submit claim with Royal Mail again for order not received - DONE claim raised for £20.90 - now just to hope they pay up as that is a lot of money for my little business to lose
- Upload scans and receipts to Shop and Scan - DONE
- Complete a survey on Shopper Thoughts
- Brainstorm ways to make an extra £25 a week seeing as I did not get the job
- Check to see if cheques paid in yesterday have been cleared on banking app - DONE and £32.10 transferred to OP savings pot
- Tidy craft room and see if I can find some more bits to sell - made a start and already found a small pile of items I am going destash
- Try and find driving license to save having to order another one - still no luck but I will keep searching before I admit defeat
- NSD (really limping on the bank account this month so desperately needed) - DONE
Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02 Stash Busting Challenge 2024 Lost count but no craft spending0 - Play on Mistplay - DONE 307 points today and cashed in a £5 voucher
