Good morning fellow Mortgage free wannabes :)

I'm feeling a little more optimistic today - nothing beats entering your new figures into a spreadsheet and seeing those numbers going down :) I think I need to get out a little bit more ;)

I'm planning on another day with my teenagers today making memories but always time to do some little things to help get these mortgages paid earlier especially as they will be in bed for a few more hours yet  ;)

    Here's today's list
    1. Play on Mistplay - so close to another £5 voucher - DONE - 127 points added today
    2. Transfer money from Paypal account (from sales in my business) to OP savings pot - DONE £229 added to OP savings account :)
    3. Complete and post off order received on Etsy - DONE :)
    4. Cash in winning scratch card (gift from my parents)  - DONE £5 added to OP savings pot :)
    5. Update spreadsheet with current mortgage amounts outstanding - DONE mortgage gone down by even more than I was expecting - happy days :)
    6. Make son's birthday card (his birthday is tomorrow!) using craft supplies I already have - DONE just hope he likes it - teenage boys are so hard to make for!!! :)
    7. Complete a Nectar survey or two - DONE two surveys completed for 60 points :)
    8. Post in 3 FB groups promoting my business with a hope I will get some more orders as I really need some
    9. Comment on In search of posts on FB in the hope I get some orders as again really needed - commented on one post so far - need to find some more :)
    10. Weigh item on FB Marketplace to find out shipping costs and let lady know (hopefully she will buy as that will be another £8) - DONE weighed and priced up, details given to potential buyer so fingers crossed they say yes :)
    11. Check free postcode lottery in the hope I might have won - DONE and not a winner :(
    12. Minimal heating on
    13. Find a small way to save electric
    14. Earn some points on swagbucks (hoping to reach daily target)
    15. Enter 3 competitions - DONE :)
    16. Open High interest savings account or ISA
    17. Join two new survey sites
    18. Play on Playspot to earn more points
    19. Check credit file using £1.50 free offer on Quidco
    20. Read the MSE newsletter and see if I can gain anymore money saving/gaining tips - DONE going to drive more efficiently and empty my car of all the things I really don't need in there :)
    21. Scan food shopping for Shop and Scan - DONE :)
    Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02

Morning everyone (well the one or two people who might read this thread) ;)

Its our son's 16th birthday today (where has that time gone!!) so not much MSE'ing going on to day but while we are waiting for him to wake up (typical teenager!!!) I am going to try and get a few things crossed of my list:-

    1. Play on Mistplay - so close to another £5 voucher - DONE - 125 points added today
    2. Complete a Nectar survey or two - DONE sadly could not complete any and ran out of surveys to try so only 6 points added today but still better than nothing I suppose :(
    3. Post in 3 FB groups promoting my business with a hope I will get some more orders as I really need some
    4. Comment on In search of posts on FB in the hope I get some orders as again really needed - commented on one already :)
    5. Give bank details to person who wanted postage costs on FB marketplace yesterday as she has decided to buy - DONE :)
    6. Check free postcode lottery in the hope I might have won - DONE but not a winner :)
    7. Minimal heating on - DONE on foe an hour this evening but we were out most of the day so not needed :)
    8. Find a small way to save electric
    9. Earn some points on swagbucks (hoping to reach daily target)
    10. Enter 3 competitions
    11. Scan any shopping we might buy when out celebrating today
    Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02

    Hello :)

Well it was quite a spendy day yesterday but as son and hubby are working today I'm going to try hard to aim for a NSD today to try and make up for it a bit. However I'm also trying to make myself feel a bit better by thinking of the lovely day we had yesterday so that sort of justifies the spending ;)

Here's my hopeful list for the day :)

    1. Play on Mistplay - so close to another £5 voucher - DONE - earnt 200 points and have just cashed out a £5 Amazon voucher so have transferred £5 to OP savings pot:)
    2. NSD - DONE £5 added to OP savings pot :)
    3. Transfer £10 from FB marketplace sale into OP savings pot - DONE :)
    4. Complete a Nectar survey or two - DONE completed one survey for 40 points and got rejected for two (another 4 points) - these two should now take me to £10 of Nectar points on my card :)
    5. Scan shopping from yesterday for Shop and Scan
    6. Post in 3 FB groups promoting my business with a hope I will get some more orders as I really need some
    7. Comment on In search of posts on FB in the hope I get some orders as again really needed
    8. Check free postcode lottery in the hope I might have won - DONE not a winner :(
    9. Minimal heating on - DONE had to put it on briefly to dry son's work uniform but nobody has said they are cold so it's staying off until then :)
    10. Find a small way to save electric - DONE daughters fairy lights turned off AGAIN!! :)
    11. Earn some points on swagbucks (hoping to reach daily target)
    12. Enter 3 competitions
    13. Open High interest savings account or ISA
    14. Join two new survey sites
    15. Play on Playspot to earn more points
    16. Check credit file using £1.50 free offer on Quidco
    17. Dry washing outside - DONE two loads dry and one load almost dry - will just need airing ;)

    Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02

Good morning - its another family day for us today as it's the last day of the holidays when none of us are working :(

I'm just waiting for everyone to wake up so whilst I do (it could be hours - the rest of my family love to sleep!!!) I'll try and get some things crossed off my list :)

    1. Play on Mistplay - DONE 150 earned :)
    2. Complete a Nectar survey or two - DONE completed one survey for 40 points :)
    3. Scan shopping for Shop and Scan - DONE :)
    4. Submit Shop & Scan beeper and receipts (and this will earn me an additional Easter bonus of 500 points) - DONE should earn me 2100 points which will give me another £10 voucher :)
    5. Post in 3 FB groups promoting my business with a hope I will get some more orders as I really need some
    6. Comment on In search of posts on FB in the hope I get some orders as again really needed
    7. Check free postcode lottery in the hope I might have won - DONE not a winner :(
    8. Minimal heating on - DONE been out most of the day so not been on and nobody is yet complaining they are cold :)
    9. Find a small way to save electric
    10. Earn some points on swagbucks (hoping to reach daily target)
    11. Enter 3 competitions
    12. Dry washing outside - First load on line and 2nd in washing machine :)
    13. Brainstorm some ideas for new low cost start up businesses - DONE I've got 14 ideas which I will research further and then narrow down based on merit :)
    14. Pay in cheques from Royal Mail - sadly no where open to pay then in :(
    15. List an item on FB Marketplace
    16. Renew FB marketplace listings - DONE 5 listings renewed - I'm hoping people will be looking over the Easter break ;
I did not get any lunch out today (the waitress missed off my order and she also messed up both hubbies and son's baps so no extra fillings were added or charged for) so this saved us £9 so this amount has been transferred into the OP savings pot along with another £2.05 from coupons used during shopping :)

I have heard a lot of people talking about TikTok recently so I will certainly check it out thank you.
I sell lots of sentimental gifts, anxiety aids and also business stationery. I'm on Etsy under Tashaandted if you wanted to take a look x

    Happy Easter :)
My kids were not bothered by Easter eggs so I saved some money there :)

The sun is shining here on the Norfolk Broads today so I'm hoping to get outside and enjoy it for most of the day and I'm looking forward to a day off from cooking as hubby has volunteered to make a roast dinner tonight - result :)
While everyone is sleeping there is always time for a few little things to help us achieve our MF dream - as my dad says "look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves". These little things really seem to be helping so lets see what I can achieve today :)

    Here's my list:-
    1. Play on Mistplay  - DONE - 415 points added today
    2. Complete a Nectar survey or two - tried - one came up with an error on 73%  :s, one just froze and the last one I got kicked out (should hopefully earn 2 points) before I ran out of surveys to try :(
    3. Post in 3 FB groups promoting my business with a hope I will get some more orders as I really need some
    4. Check free postcode lottery in the hope I might have won - DONE not a winner :(
    5. Minimal heating on - DONE on for an hour in the evening only :)
    6. Find a small way to save electric - DONE turned off daughters bedroom light :)
    7. Earn some points on swagbucks (hoping to reach daily target)
    8. Enter 3 competitions
    9. Dry washing outside as a lovely day - might not even have a full load though so may wait - not enough for a full load so no washing done thus saving electric :)
    10. Look into selling on TikTok

Morning everyone. The weather here today is awful - it's raining so hard so I'm thinking it will be an indoors day today and therefore no spending required (however the kids may have other ideas!) :(

    Here's today's list:-

    1. Play on Mistplay - DONE 102 points earned :)
    2. Complete order received on Etsy ready to post off tomorrow - DONE :)
    3. Package up scrapbooking kit sold on FB Marketplace ready to post off tomorrow
    4. NSD (hopefully) - DONE £5 transferred into OP savings pot :)
    5. Complete a Nectar survey or two - DONE 22 points earned (one survey and one attempted) no more available :)
    6. Post in 3 FB groups promoting my business with a hope I will get some more orders as I really need some   - DONE no orders yet but hopefully it will help me get seen :)
    7. Comment on In search of posts on FB in the hope I get some orders as again really needed - DONE :)
    8. Check free postcode lottery in the hope I might have won - DONE not a winner :(
    9. Minimal heating on - DONE bot been on at all today but will have to go on briefly tonight as son wants some washing dry for tomorrow (wish he had given it to me yesterday!!!) :)
    10. Find a small way to save electric - DONE TV and lights turned off whilst not in room :)
    11. Earn some points on swagbucks (hoping to reach daily target)
    12. Enter 3 competitions
    13. Open High interest savings account or ISA
    14. Join two new survey sites
    15. Play on Playspot to earn more points
    16. Check credit file using £1.50 free offer on Quidco
    17. List an item on FB Marketplace
    18. Look into selling on TikTok
    19. Investigate further ideas for new businesses - DONE made a pros and cons list for each one and none of them seem like totally brilliant ideas - will try to narrow down to two or three choices I think and then go from there :)
