    Morning all,

Its my last day to spend some time with our son before he goes back to college tomorrow so we are heading into the City for him to spend some of his Christmas money. Fingers crossed we might get some bargains :)

I have just transferred my first money of 2024 into the OP savings account which feels good. It was made up of the money from the NSD yesterday together with £100 transferred from the joint account from savings made to subscriptions etc so we are off and running with this years total standing at £105 :)

    Today I WILL:-

    1. Play on Mistplay (106 points target) - 67 points so far :)
    2. Pay in Christmas money from mum and dad (they were very generous and gave us £700) so we will be putting it to good use and using it to pay off the mortgage - DONE :)
    3. Cash in £1 winning scratchcard - DONE :)
    4. Renew FB Marketplace listings - DONE 16 listings renewed :)
    5. Answer enquiries received for stickers in my business
    6. Transfer Etsy earnings for Dec when they go into my account today - DONE £117.20 added to the OP pot :)
    7. Return library book I have finished - DONE :)
    8. Meal plan for week and make a shopping list (hoping for a minimal shop so we can use up leftovers) - DONE turns out we don't really have many savoury left overs :)
    9. Put out a plea for Christmas cards (gives me free crafting materials and also the chance to make some things to raise cash for good causes) - DONE :)
    10. Go food shopping and stick to shopping list -m DONE apart from 3 boxes of mince pies which were 9p for a six pack :)
    11. Raise two claims with Royal Mail for items lost - DONE £21.05 claimed back so fingers crossed it will be approved :)
    12. Transfer over DD from Santandar to Natwest to get better interest rates
    13. Look for Scan and Shop booklet so I can start scanning and earning points again
    14. Take a survey on Prime Opnion
    15. Carry out searches on Inbox Pounds
    16. Look for any local PT jobs
    17. Return coat bought for son for Xmas which he did not like (£65 so glad he did not like it) - DONE :)
    18. Chase sons bus pass which was paid on 28th November!!! - DONE annoyingly they are saying it is lost in the post and replacement will not arrive for another 10 days so I am going to have to pay again (£4 a day) until it arrives :(

Have a lovely day with your son.

Today OH starts back at work, but we have decided lessons are not starting until the 8th. All the groups and clubs the children go to are closed this week. But they both have other things booked for this week. My eldest is very busy on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so no doubt my taxi services will be required.

Good luck finding your scan and shop booklet.

I need to finish my rag rug wreath, the rag rugging was finished in November, I only need to cut it out and fit the hanging loop. Then it can be packed away with the rest of the Christmas decorations instead of sitting on my desk for the rest of the year 😆

I don't blame you - life is short so you may as well enjoy all of it you possibly can :)

Didn't get round to looking for the scan and shop booklet but it will get done today I hope :)

The rag rug sounds amazing - I'd love to see a photo when it's finished x

    Morning all.

We just about survived the strong winds last night although there is a lot of fairly deep puddles around so I will be staying in as much as I can today I hope.

Son is back to college today so I'm preparing for the daily fight to get him up in time and on the bus. Wish me luck - I think I'm going to need it!!!

Not much planned from me today. I've got to get back into the swing of things myself ;)

    Today I WILL:-

    1.  Play on Mistplay (106 points target) - DONE 162 points today :)
    2.  Make up nail planner for Etsy order and post off
    3.  Make up jewellery planner for Etsy order and post off
    4.  Answer enquiries received for stickers in my business - DONE just waiting for more info from them before I can quote :)
    5.  Transfer over DD from Santandar to Natwest to get better interest rates
    6.  Look for Scan and Shop booklet so I can start scanning and earning points again
    7.  Take a survey on Prime Opnion
    8.  Carry out searches on Inbox Pounds
    9.  Look for any local PT jobs - applied for one and made a list of local companies to contact to see if they have any vacancies :)
    10. Write social media posts for this week and next and schedule them - Written the next 3 days worth and posted for today :)
    11. Go through DD's and SO's and see if I can negotiate any prices or cancel them
    12. NSD - I bought a storage unit for the dog food for the hallway but it is a much needed item and will benefit the house and also help me not to order kibble too early when I think I am running out as I will be able to see exactly how much I have left  :)

morning glad you survived the winds, yesterday here (we are more south and west of you) it was jolly windy, but I think it had calm down by night time. The news certainly showed some scary sights!
Have a good day, hows the job hunt going?
