Hey all - RT the fakeaway version of KFC sounds great - I’ve often been tempted to try Al’s southern fried chicken so may give that a go at some stage!Well we finally got across here just after 10pm last night - delayed but we’ve had worse! Currently no idea how we are travelling home as the ferry route we were going to use is cancelled for basically a month from tomorrow - cheers CalMac! We’ll work through some logistics though and this time round we’ll be claiming every single flipping penny we can from them for the inconvenience too - the way they’re messing the islands around is getting well beyond a joke. It will likely mean a crossing back to Oban a day later than we’d originally intended, though.Current view and the cute little pod we’re staying in until tomorrow are below - we’ve stayed here many times - the owners are lovely and the pod is just perfect, well priced too! (That’s the MSE content, right there!)No specific plans for today - a very lazy start for sure though - we’ve had bacon and egg butties for breakfast and are now enjoying the sunshine with copious quantities of tea (me) and coffee (him) - and as I have a good book and the surroundings are so glorious I see no reason to move any time soon! 😁🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
