OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026
I also Reverse Meal Plan on that thread and grow much of our own premium price fruit and veg, joining in on the grow your own in 2026 discussion thread

I bloody LOVE you lot!
We are in - completion of the full chain happened just after midday and we were in to the house just under an hour later after the final bits of cleaning and then dropping/collecting keys.The removal team were absolutely brilliant. Helped us get the fridge freezer out and then shift the two sofas that we’d bought from our sellers from front room to living room here. (That was the only point there was a teeny bit of grumpiness, although when they realised that both sofas split down into component parts that mostly dissipated!) They got a healthy tip at the end of it. They were loaded in here in under two hours which was astonishing!We’ve mainly concentrated on kitchen unpacking and are beginning to get things sorted where we want them there, and our bed is ready to go as planned. Temping as it is to keep going we’ve called it a day now - F&C have been consumed, we’re about to eat scones baked for us by one of our old neighbours, and we’ve managed to get the TV set up to play a DVD. Oh, and I have my promised Prosecco too!Thank you all so much for your cheerleading! 😘🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
